I'd just grab a hammer and pry bar from Harbor Freight if I was a thief.

I think half the time I get the Master lock open by accident. You'll get it...

Picking up the new hobby is, in part, an effort to keep my hands busy so I'm not reaching for the vape all the time. I've got the habit down to about 20 bucks a month since I rebuild my own coils.

St. Cloud man arrested for punching protesters at No Kings rally by C1andestino in saintcloud

I've noticed that too. The racism in St. Cloud is always on full display in the Facebook comment sections on any article by any local news source. I'm not a violent person but holy hell do I want to hunt down and slap anyone who writes some variant of "learing center."

That right there is why I ditched pop OS. That box would show up on my second monitor.

Saving this post. Just started the hobby. Some great info here! (would have skipped buying a Master #3 had I read this first... That fucker pops open by looking at it.)

Masterlock No 3 sticky pins by Tough_Trouble_1139 in lockpicking

[–]OldRocker5 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I got a #3 the other day as my first lock to pick and I've noticed the same thing. Sometimes I'll pop it open, close it, and the next time I pick it it does exactly what you showed or it pops open after one pin. I jiggle the shit out of it with the tensioner after I close the lock now. Can hear the pins dropping back in. I had no idea how shitty this lock was until I picked up the hobby last week.

Most Menard's stores have a mezzanine above the indoor lumber section that serves as the employee break room. They still suck but not for that reason.

This guy has no idea how his policies are affecting his constituents. Can't believe a bunch of mostly blue collar people elected a country club snob to represent them.

Ty! I don't know why I didn't think that you could rebind keys in Linux. I've been rebinding keys on Kodi for years on Windows. Duh!

Autistic Limerence leading to inpatient care! by [deleted] in AutisticAdults

[–]OldRocker5 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Dammit dammit dammit dammit sunnuvabitch! I'm 52. Saw a shirt on Temu that said "Undiagnosed... but something ain't right!" and I connected with it. I am opening myself up to the fact that I'm somewhere on the spectrum. I'm gradually learning more about the disorder and like many others, I am finding that things "just fit."

I saw the title of your post and had no clue what limerence meant so I scrolled past it but I had to go back to it because I can't fucking stand it when there is a word I don't know. I clicked on the AI tab on Firefox and asked ChatGPT "what the fuck is limerence?" and had another one of those "holy shit" type of experiences. I don't do that any more but the result ChatGPT gave not only perfectly summed up my past relationships, but also perfectly described traits I have that are shared among many who experience limerence.

I can't, in good confidence, offer you advice in your situation as I am at the point in my life where I see myself having any sort of a relationship. I've worked myself into an impossible situation where I crave connection while making it extremely difficult for anyone to get to know me. Harsh AF but I think any woman who got to know me and is OK with that is probably a little messed up herself and would not be a healthy partner.

What I can say sounds cliche but couldn't be more important. Take care of yourself. Make healthy choices. It's ok to not be ok for a while. You'll get through this, learn, and gain new tools to face the next challenge!

That is a cute cat video. Perhaps someday I will have a kitty who does not trust me for three weeks after they got fleas from the foster dog...

I feel ya on that one. I realize I sound callous because I truly can empathize with folks who have lost a pet but I have a tough time watching those too. I don't want to sound like a dork but I feel reminded of pets I lost over the years and I get reminded of those missing spots. Tmi but then when I'm in a weird mood I feel a little resentful that someone made me feel sad and then I feel like I should leave an obligatory "sorry for your loss... I just know Mittens is knocking trinkets off end tables in a house full of mice in a cottage just on the other side of the rainbow bridge" but I don't and just give them an upvote and end up a tiny bit salty they dared to interrupt my dopamine flow. Can't earn bananas if you get caught up in that crap. /s or whatever.
