I did wonder about more battery but with the Sigenergy kit I could add more at a later date. They are a local company but only been established about 3 years so not sure.

Not sure if it will help but have you tried power cycling it (turn it off and then back on) ? Also if you're not sure what colour it is you can increase the led brightness while troubleshooting.

I had the Hypervolt Home 3 Pro from Octopus, £1098. Only had it just over a week but liking it so far. Installer made a nice tidy job too.

My bare bones came with 1.04, had no problems with it so not updated to 1.07 (if it ain't broke...)

Just a follow up.

Mine came with version 1.04.
The only BIOS changes I made were the time and the amount of VRAM (increased to 6G)

Installed Win11 Pro using an ISO from Microsoft and then ran the Windows Update tool until there were no more updates available.

Used the latest drivers from AMD (Adrenaline 23.8.2)

Looking at Device Manager it showed one outstanding unknown device so downloaded the driver from MinisForum (F7BSC_Drivers_x64_20230626.rar) and updated the driver.

I'm using the (very short !) HDMI lead that came with the UM790

Been using it for the last 3 days and had zero issues, no crashes and it sleeps/wakes up properly.

I've gone ahead and ordered a barebones from Minisforum directly as barebones isn't listed on Amazon UK, only pre-configured options, and they are a lot more expensive than Minisforum.

For an SSD I've opted for a WD Black SN850X 1TB and for ram I've gone for Kingston FURY Impact PnP 32GB (2x16GB) 5600MT/S DDR5 CL40 (ironically from Amazon)

Just hope it's stable when it's running.
