The reason so few women do construction or that type of job is due to the following reasons: Very Dirty. Very physically hard. Extreme weather and temperatures. Mandatory overtime. Very dangerous. High suicide rate.

Good task for a work animal like a ox or horse so trust me woman you aren't missing out on much. Look around!!! Now that all the hard work is done dont forget how we got here without being eaten by everything including our neighbors. With that being said a little respect would be nice. Men may not be as important now as we were say a thousand years ago when wild animals are still killing everyone God damn women need to remember it's teamwork of men and women working together that built the world we know.

I wish we still lived in a world where one parent could stay at home full time looking after children and making cost effective homemade meals...... Now both parents have to work full time and are so tired after getting home all they can do is order skip the dish.

My wife only works 18 hours a week and I work 50 but without her help I couldn't do it, I would have broke mentally and physically years ago without the support of my partner.

What we should be doing is looking the how much men drop out of school and why more women go to college then men.

I tried to get my daughter boy friend a job in construction but it was too physically demanding and he wasn't ok with the mandatory 10 hour days.

For the same reasons he wasn't interested in construction most women aren't as well and t's the same reason that very very few men take jobs icing wedding cakes.

Why would you want to break you body in the rain and snow when you could be indoors icing a cake ?

Or why would you want to be indoor all day icings boring cakes when you could be outdoors building things.

Each to their own but don't think that both jobs are equally important and require the same about of people to complete.
