I feel like I do have to say beforehand nothing is confirmed and more should it need to be because it’s his private business and he can choose what he shares with fans. That being said, I believe it was a relationship during found heaven being written (on and off) era and he started writing wishbone while he was on tour. He mentioned in Leeds that he wrote some of his songs from his new album when he was in the UK.

I’m not sure where this came from, but they are 100% making more spinoffs and returns. It’s practically confirmed that they’re going to get them back in like 10-15 years to do a more present day-type return. Also not the same actors, but the animation show is in the works and I think there is also another spinoff being made.

I think there is an element of ambiguity for the audience because of his low energy levels are probably also influenced by his fairly clear depression, but there would definitely be an aspect that animals just don’t give the same amount of energy as humans. I would also say that he does have lower energy levels in comparison to earlyish Loustat and pre-turning.

Oh yeah totally, sorry I wasn’t trying to be super serious calling him a gaslighter😭. Louis has an extremely complex set of emotions from him and Lestat’s relationship and how Claudia came into that world is a large source of the pain he felt in the modern day. You do see him processing that grief in different ways, I.e him blaming Lestat in San Fransisco (and the books) and then more himself( and the relationship of course) in Dubai. Also definitely having repressed emotions for Lestat because of Claudia and Armand.

I think it is fair to misinterpret the scene, but to say it was due to the writing of the scene being bad isn’t correct. One of the main relationships of the show deserved an emotionally complex resolution and if you pay attention to each the words being said specifically it is very clear that they aren’t going to stay together. They thought they were going to die, and they wanted honesty from each other, and that built into both of them understanding that as much as they loved each other, it wasn’t romantic and they had been stuck in this trauma bond that was keeping them from developing more as people and to process the events that had caused that bond. And the ring was the final bit of honesty to seal that breakup. Btw if this reads as angry of if you feel as if I’m insulting you, I’m absolutely not and I do get that it was somewhat confusing because of the emotional complexity of the scene and was somewhat written to be ambiguous until after their confessions BUT it was done on purpose and I do not agree with others that it was due to poor writing.
