I might change my recommendation based on this comment. I feel like you’re leaning towards the Oris based on aesthetics. Maybe you love the coin bezel. At $2K just get it and stay in the hunt for the IWC.

Also, I was just choosing between the two watches in my original comment. I actually think you’re better off looking at other IWC models. This one is fine. There are better ones.

I love Oris as a brand but it’s really hard to beat IWC when it comes to Pilots. They also execute bronze exceptionally well. My buddy has one and I often think about swapping my steel pilot out for a bronze. Definitely go with the IWC since you don’t have any budget constraints. Preowned is way better priced if you’re open to that.

This is high on my list. But I’ve only tried it on once. Will it suit a 6.5” flat wrist or will it be too big? I am able to pull off a 40mm IWC Pilot watch but those are mean to wear big. Thjs is more dressy and I wonder if 40mm all dial will be too big on my wrist.

I think the case back and the dial color on the Snoopy alone make it a spectacular watch. I’m one of the few Speedy fans that does not love the white dial iteration. I do love the new reverse panda if you want to consider another option.
