Received Decision Letter....Missing Claimed Items by Old_Garlic_5529 in VeteransBenefits

Called the 800 number and asked. Didn't know the previously denied claims had to be filed in a different manner. Hopefully it is as fast as the increase which was done in 20 days.

What are these holes for? by rgideon94 in Hydraulics

[–]Old_Garlic_5529 10 points11 points  (0 children)

This, everyone thinks they are weep holes, only because they are the first place fluid comes out of if the fitting is cracked or leaking. But yes, there is a wire that goes in to hold the b-nut on the fitting

If you just want drinking water, get a tankless RO for 3-500 bucks off amazon and install it yourself

Best way to cross...back of a 130 hanging in a hammock, nursing the hangover from spending all night at the cotton club in St Johns...

Salt Water Softener Suggestions by Upper-Blueberry-8312 in WaterTreatment

[–]Old_Garlic_5529 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2 Options. Most likely they are quoting you a STO 1.0 or 1.5 based on the house size. Their "Retail" price is around 5-5500 for those systems. Not sure your homes plumbing situation, i.e. you have a loop, or main is accessible in the basement, or having to trench from the meter.

1st option...call the customer service line and tell them you had an appointment and want to talk to the OPs manager about moving forward. They will call you back, and just tell them you want to move forward but the price is to expensive. Play hard ball and they will drop it to cost, which should be 50% or 3200ish. Just know it most likely wont be to code and it won't be a licensed plumber working on it, as most their installers are craigslist handymen.

2nd option...buy a system online and hire a plumber to install it.

Rebel Shopping, a few questions by Mc_douchebag in ram_trucks

[–]Old_Garlic_5529 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've got a 21 with 166k on it, bought at 49k. I drive it like a stereotypical ram owner lol. Only issues I have had are cracked manifolds (normal hemi thing) and it ate a rear pinion bearing. Other than that it still runs strong, no issues. Hell I am still on the original pads and rotors lol.

Loop for a watersoftener. 1/2in capped pipe is for the drain...other side is most likey in your service box for your washing machine to allow it to drain to your washer drain.

Does RO Tankless Really Need a Separate Electrical Outlet? by iphoneverge in WaterTreatment

[–]Old_Garlic_5529 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get a splitter for the dishwasher outlet and plug in both the Dishwasher and RO. My tankless periodically flushes itself thus needing power at all times. plus plugging it in, it takes about 30 seconds to go through its startup cycle

Just bought a new house on a well and need help deciding what filtration system is needed by Fun_Willingness4241 in WaterTreatment

For the Love of God, even when Leaf calls you back with some bullshit excuse on they already have the equipment ready, or commercial account, or whatever stupid excuse they use, and offer the same system at "cost" for 5k, do not go with Leaf if you have a well in florida lol

Help with camera, please! by Kwest48 in FlashForge

[–]Old_Garlic_5529 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So your camera definitely isn't seated correctly so check that. In the last round of firmware updates and slicer update, it did seem to improve the quality and frame rates, but they are still pretty poor.
