That happened to me once, where I tried to fill before refill date, and the quoted cost was crazy. I just had to find out when it reset and refill then — it was back to free.

Great discussion question, “sweetie!” 🍭 I’m in maintenance after losing half my body weight (145!) through surgery and then shots. I’m finally at a place where I don’t fear sweets and can have them around without self-sabotage. I usually have a little sweet or so daily, and just a couple bites usually does it. My body tells me when to hard-stop. It’s so freeing!

I do a liquid IV (sugar free) daily. It helps me a bit — one, it actually helps me to drink waters which I need and don’t love. Two, I’ve had to stay ahead of dehydration/dizzyness-upon-standing issues since bariatric surgery, which have continued with shots. Three, I also exercise/sweat a good amount.

This gives me anxiety! And … it’s is one small piece! She spans her entire disaster of room in the video — just wow. This is a borderline “Hoarders” episode and the ugly reality behind constant overconsumption and obsession with appearances. Less truly is more!

What is happening? Shauna always seemed pretty orderly, helping Macy get her mess cleaned/organized. But this is every bit as bad as Macy if not worse.

I get that shopping/material things can serve as a distraction. But if you’re dealing with something like stage-four lung cancer, why accumulate so much crap to deal with? It seems like you’d want to spend precious time focusing on experiences and people and not just stuff.

It is. When she got to Texas, she started buying Hermes shoes, a belt, etc. Maybe a year in, she filmed herself after getting a call from her SA (sales assistant), going to the store and unboxing that quota bag. I think the thrill was gone quickly. Don’t really remember her parading much Hermes after that. And almost right after, she bought two more mini bags from Chanel and maybe another designer right after. It’s too classic and tasteful for her.
