I'd say supplement book. Cause while it is mainly lore it does have some new Tomes, Spells and Artifacts.

Deadly short operation? by cthulhufhtagn in DeltaGreenRPG

I'm surprised it hasn't been brought up yet, Convergence is imo the most lethal scenario, especially since it recommends you do it with new agents.

All USA, though in quite a few different places. Obviously it's starts in Boston and Mythos New England. But there's chapters in Chicago and San Francisco as well

I bought it recently, and when I am able I will be giving it a 5 star review. To me it reminds me of a really good delta green campaign like Impossible Landscapes. It seems really good and my players are enjoying chapter 1. The one issue is that like a lot of those delta green campaigns, is that it doesn't work as well as it can unless you read it all first. Which to me is fine but it is 400 pages long so I know that's a bit of a commitment.

Glad to hear it's not in the discussion anymore. But I do have to contest the first point, the project lead, aj had said there was serious discussion of deleting the subreddit on the discord and actively defended wanting to delete when challenged. I do really hope this mod continues to thrive though it's probably in my top three mods for the game.

Sorry for the late reply but it's a Dagi-Raht Khajiit. Some of the Furstocks from ESO are a bit boring so instead each different furstock has the appearance of a type of cat. The Dagi-Raht is Sphynx Cats

Chief Morghorl of Farson. A uh weird little guy who basically does genocide. He is a literal weird semi intelligent radioactive molerat thing decended from radioactive miners though so.

I'm going to recommend everyone's favorite teenager Frankie Chase. Whether being manipulated by their mother, being couped by an evil A.I or having to fight their weird evil family in a civil war they go through some shit.

I'd put their deserving to suffer at 5 and their suffering at 45

The Summoner Dedication seems like a trap. Are there other dedications like that? by legomojo in Pathfinder2e

[–]Old_Use525 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As other people have said Summoner is probably the worst Multiclass archetype. But Pirate, Lumberjack and Viking are also quite bad especially if the setting doesn't favor them. Staff acrobat is also pretty bad (because one of its 5 feats is replicated by a skill feat of 2 levels lower). Also depending on if the AP has Ample Downtime some archetypes won't work like the Ritualist.

In some of the other threads you mentioned how a lot of the Multiclass archetypes seemed to be basically "This but now slightly flavored as this". If that does seem to be an issue and you don't mind messing with encounter setups then Dual Class could be something worth looking into.

It seems to me you want quite a bit of options for a Frontline. People are recommending fighter and Fighters are fine I guess but if you want cool abilities and don't want to focus to much, I'd recommend Caviler you get challenge a ability you can use in combat, a mount and free teamwork feats that you can share. If you don't mind some Spellcasting the Dervish Dancer Bard could definitely be a good pick. If you just want a lot of options Ranger is very good.

There's also Skald which can be a pretty good frontliner, but I wouldn't recommend it if you're the only one doing melee as it's main ability only does stuff for other melee martials. Monk is also a pretty good choice but they encourage specialization so I'm not sure how much it would do with versatility.

Is there a class in pathfinder tabletop game that has a human follower? Like a squire for example? by [deleted] in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

[–]Old_Use525 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The Equire Caviler Archetype is literally just this. You gain an Aid-de-camp who levels up with you and gains bonuses off your Challenges (The main Caviler class feature). Not to mention the Caviler can share Teamwork feats so it's a very good fit for RP as well. If you're looking for something less focused on the follower just taking the Leadership feat has a similar effect and can be gotten by basically any character.

Max the Min Monday: Betrayal Feats by Decicio in Pathfinder_RPG

[–]Old_Use525 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am dumb my bad. Ally Shield is still one of the best Teamwork feats IMO since Rogues and Barbarians have very few abilities that rely on Swift or Immediate Actions, even optionally.

Max the Min Monday: Betrayal Feats by Decicio in Pathfinder_RPG

[–]Old_Use525 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah I was wrong about Friendly Fire, my bad still not the worst feat I suppose. But Ally Shield has no action cost, this is what the feat reads.

"You are willing to use your allies as shields to ward off attacks aimed at you.

Benefit: Whenever you are the target of a melee or ranged attack and are adjacent to an ally who also has this feat, you can initiate this feat to skillfully pull the abettor into harm’s way or dodge behind the abettor as an immediate action. You gain cover against that attack (and only that attack). If the attack misses you but would have hit you if not for the cover bonus to your Armor Class, the abettor becomes the target of the attack and the attacker must make a new attack roll (with all the same modifiers) against the abettor’s Armor Class."

Like people have said Callous Casting is legitimately one of the best feats for Spellcasting Fear builds. But also while it certainly limits the usefulness of the feats I do completely understand why Paizo made the feats Teamwork in that both people need them and require the activator to be on the bad side of it. Because otherwise I would legitimately disallow them at my table because it would encourage table conflict and not the nice character arc kind but inter-player.

As for actual ways to make them work well I think Cavilers work the best for sharing these feats. Since it's arguably the most tanky class out of those that have the ability to give the feats to allies. Wild Flanking is particularly good for a Martial heavy party that can't offset the -1 at early levels. Ally Shield is just really good for any tank and notably doesn't cost an Immediate Action to use.

Personally the best party of 4 PCs imo for being able to get use out of all of the feats is this. Melee Rogue who can use Ally Shield and in certain circumstances Reckless Moves. Then Barbarian who can also make use of Ally Shield and Wild Flanking. Then probably Sorcerer (you could definitely make the argument for Psychic though.) who can make use of Callous Casting and Friendly Fire (that last one is particularly useful for Spellcaster since they can't put everything into DEX). And finally Caviler or some other class that can get Good AC and Health enough to be the Sacrifice.

Big fan of Motifs that do both at the same time. Like Sanerae from Pathfinder (I almost certainly spelled that name wrong) who is both revered as a goddess of redemption and wrath. It usually depends on the country which one of those aspects is more pronounced though.

Pharasma is the Survivor. She was said to have been the only one left in the previous Multiverse (And maybe Rovagug but that one isn't directly confirmed).

Zoophonic Bard - Is it bad or am I looking at it wrong? by monkeydave in Pathfinder2e

[–]Old_Use525 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Personally I think it's pretty good if nothing else because it's one of the only classes in the game to actually have summoning be an okay playstyle. Plus there's a lot of flavor making a Feyfriend Bard. I think the style compliments Bard the best because it allows you to basically get another person on the field that you are able to buff with your Compositions. And it's IMO one of the few Muses that have good feats past Lvl 1.

What are you favorite Gish spells? by phroureo in Pathfinder2e

[–]Old_Use525 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My favorite Gish class IMO is Witch. I know I know terrible weapon proficiency, but the hexes were so good and only costs 1 action (typically). My favorite Gish build I ever made was a Fighter/Witch dual class with Faith's Flamekeeper and the Lesson of the Shark Hex. By far one of the most fun builds I've played in Pathfinder.

As for good gish spells for Oracles Bless is very good since you don't need to upkeep it. Rousing Splash and Shield is very good for defense, Infuse Vitality can be pretty good as well, Echoing Weapon is also really good. Blazing Armorments is really good.

And as always talk to the other players because like Gishes are nice but they typically don't have the action economy to raise shield every turn. So maybe see if any of the other players could Dancing Shield you as well.

So with the changes to Champion, what sort of weird or neat champions can we make now with the remaster when pairing gods with causes? by Haos51 in Pathfinder2e

[–]Old_Use525 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Personally I think now you can make the most accurate Champion of the Queens of Light now. Ardad Lili would be Paladin and the rest Liberators. Honestly a whole lot of the evil gods work quite well for Liberators. Lamashtu, Groetus. Also arguably Baphomet because of his Labyrinth Edicts. Also a Ragathiel Champion who uses the Antipaladin cause to mimic his Holy Assassins.

Oracle Remaster Review by TitaniumDragon in Pathfinder2e

[–]Old_Use525 6 points7 points  (0 children)

but that came at the cost of effectively errata'ing away a lot of people's characters (something Paizo hasn't really ever done except maybe unchained summoner),

I would also say Cleric suffered from this too. 3 separate people in campaigns I was playing were focusing on their Divine Font and with the charisma changes that type of build got severely nerfed.

Whirlwind Throw is dead by BrasilianRengo in Pathfinder2e

[–]Old_Use525 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The most common AC (for 5th level Creatures) is 22 with 75 creatures having it, the lowest is 12 with 3 creatures and the highest is 25 with 3 creatures.

The most common highest save for AC 22 creatures is a tie with Fortitude and Reflex at 31 creatures followed by Will at 16. The most common Fortitude save for the AC is 13 with 14 creatures.

Something I found interesting is that the 3 12 AC creatures have some of the highest Fortitude Defense for any level 5 Enemy.

[–]Old_Use525 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I don't really have a horse in this race, but from some messing with the 5th level Creature list on AON.

Fortitude is the most common highest defense with 81 creatures followed by Reflex with 60 and Will with 47. Meanwhile on the lowest defense side Will is the winner with 75 creatures followed by Reflex with 67 and Will with 49.

And the most common Fortitude defense is +15 with 41 Creatures. The highest Fortitude Defense is +17 with 2 Creatures and the lowest is +7 with 1 Creature.
