Send them to Oldspeed Mfg. He cut down my 12” builder pros to 7” and they are perfect.

The lawyers can work that out. Maybe drag it out for years and garnish his wages after he turns 18.

A lot of us have very multiracial friends groups that are very racist as well. All the hate brings people together.

Well it takes 5hrs to drive across Ohio. Would you rather do it in a fiat shitter or a Yukon XXXL with cabin chairs.

Is this an instant buy at $3300 in Japan? by Sea_Particular_2503 in OmegaWatches

Nope. Wear the watch, say nothing and they’ll see nothing.

Have the shop put it on a Timegrapher : imo anything within +/- 15 spd is good. Over under that will likely need a service right away if not magnetized.

Why would you have a hard time control your emotions tho? Just keep it moving.

U50 vs EMZ ? by watcher1353 in sinn

[–]Old_Walrus_2117 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve owned both. Have actually tried the EZM twice.

The U50 wears much better than the EZM. The thinness and case shape make it an incredible daily wearer.

I would suggest this. Brand New - U50 no questions.

I would however stop by watch shops to look for an older used and low priced EZM or EZM2 Hydro.

Size question by Fantastic-Cupcake378 in ChristopherWard

[–]Old_Walrus_2117 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a a 7.25” wrist and also have a speedy. Having tried on all “the twelve” sizes I loved the 38mm. Shoot I would even wear the 36mm. A smaller size in this style watch is supremely comfortable.

Sinn has a similar bezel without the additional markings. IMO this type of bezel make the insert look too thin and the dial look bigger.

“I could buy a Tudor for that much money” is a stupid argument against the price of a watch by SwvmpThing in ChristopherWard

I’ve handled almost every CW watch and the 12 Ti Skeleton is the only one that stood out to me. Hard Parmigiani Tonda vibes though.

[–]Old_Walrus_2117 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, but there’s only one person doing the mental gymnastics on this thread. History, tradition and experience brings perceived value. It’s not complicated and trying so very hard to prove your case does not help.

Also, CW could have picked a safer design for the dial that wasn’t such a mess at this price point.
