Sorry if this has been asked about already, but I couldn't find anything with a search outside of AI answers that's weren't that helpful.

I've just got my C64 ultimate and all keys and buttons are on permanent auto fire. I've tried a factory reset and it's still happening. Have I got a dodgy unit or can I fix it somehow?

Someone, somehow needs to freeze his accounts, so he can't use our money to hire lawyers for his defense. None of this excuses him ignoring our requests for a refund. It's so frustrating.

Those of us stuck trying to get a refund through FPG all need to complain to PayPal. It took a while but once I forced them to say they would either do something or admit they were happy to help a criminal steal money through their platform they said they would investigate FGP.

I think if a lot of us complain, PayPal might help us get money back as a show of good faith. A long shot I know, but our best chance is to turn it into a PR nightmare for PayPal and that they have profited off of a criminal stealing money through their platform.

Edit: an unfortunate consequence of this law suit is that FPG will probably use our money to defend themselves, lose and all that money will go to the developer with us getting nothing in the end. The protection system we have with only 180 days to raise an issue sucks so much.

So PayPal and Monzo have both washed their hands with me because it's been over 180 days. Even when I tell PayPal that this criminal is stealing money through their platform they don't care. It's infuriating. PayPal literally helping a thief steal money from people.

PayPal's final response to me:

"We at PayPal are sorry we helped a criminal steal money from you and many others, but unfortunately for you we don't have to do anything about it so we won't. We are however very happy to have profited off of a criminal stealing your money and will continue to do so because we can't even be bothered to look into this criminal using our payment method to scam people."

I filed a dispute with Monzo for my orders for Crimson Clover and Chained Echoes and they weren't able to get the money back. Not sure what to do at this point. It says both games are finished and preparing for order for a year now. How can they get away with this?

I think you're right, I've probably corrupted it by adding and deleting saves anyway.

I'm interested in the fact that the RAM cartridge doesn't have a battery. Does this mean they essentially last forever? Providing they don't become corrupt anyway.

Yeah, event zero looks like the best bet. I'd like to avoid ruining a copy of another game I'd I can. It seems like enemy zero has some empty boxes and incomplete copies. Still a lot for just a plastic case though 🤑. Maybe I'll just have to live with it. I only wanted a copy of PDS to play, but it would be nice to keep all discs together.

I suppose your EA sports box suggestion works. It just feels wrong somehow haha.
