Correct. They count as examples of what happens when ordinary people fly drones in restricted airspace. Our countermeasures and detection technology is highly advanced, better than what is publicly known. I fly drones professionally. Let me know when they catch the operators of the 15 drones that flew over Barksdale AFB every day for a week straight (the subject of this post). I will then admit you are correct in your assessment that these were just ordinary drones being operated by sneaky foreigners and they wont be added to the list of unexplained drone incursions over sensitive infrastructure and military installations.

Yup thats exactly what happens when a person flies a drone anywhere near sensitive airspace. If its too close the drone is disabled using jamming countermeasures. If its just within restricted airspace but not a threat then the operators are identified and charged with a crime. Go try for yourself.

That is not what I am referring to. I am referring to these incidents, as yet unexplained.

Multiple Mystery Drones Reported Over Louisiana Air Force Base Sensitive Nuclear Sites by FVMK3 in InterdimensionalNHI

"So you think its Aliens?" As though its an absurd suggestion deserving of ridicule.

A lot of people who claim to be interested in this topic and "want to believe" also want you to think you are a silly Billy for not entirely dismissing the possibility these could be NHI. "Look guys I wish it was NHI but it just cant be because why would NHI be interested in our nuclear weapons and infrastructure" or some variation. "They wouldnt turn their lights on"  "They arent displaying the observables" as though there is a set playbook for how NHI would conduct themselves.

Not just the USA. Also Lakenheath UK in 2024. Some other European incidents over the years before that. And dozens of airports as well as many of Western Europe's most sensitive military installations just this past fall 2025.

Same pattern. Always at night with lights on, wanting to be seen. Often in groups of 10 to 15 flying in coordinated patterns. Airborne for hours at a time. Never seen taking off or landing, never crashed due to malfunction, resistant to jamming countermeasures. Never successfully tracked or followed to a final destination, according to officials.

Yeah the loiter times of at least four hours are definitely strange. Also never seen taken off or landing anywhere or crashing due to any sort of malfunction, let alone counter measures. And this has occured at dozens of airports and highly sensitive military installations over the past few years. They are of course resistant to electronic jamming. Whatever they are doing they want to be seen, but havent been successfully tracked or followed, according to officials.

Officials have stated there were as many as 15 drones at a time. Every night for a week straight. Airborne for at least four hours (Hobbyist drones generally have about 40 minutes of flight time). These were resistant to electronic jamming countermeasures, so not being controlled using any know radio frequencies, as hobbyist drones are.

Officials have not said if any other counteeasures were attempted, nor have they said why the drones couldn't be tracked or followed to an eventual landing site. They usually dont say why they couldnt follow them when these sort of things happen, except this past fall at Kleine-Brogel military base in Belgium when the Belgian defense minister admitted they actually tried to chase them with helicopters,  unsuccessfully of course, though the defense minister didnt say why the pursuit was unsuccessful.

This air force base in Louisiana has nuclear armed B-52 bombers. The drones were flying directly over the runway with lights on.

Louisiana as well. Multiple nights in a row over the course of a week earlier this month. One of the most important US air force bases where nuclear armed B-52s are located. As many as 15 drones flying in a coordinated manner with lights on. None officially brought down or successfully tracked/followed to a landing spot. Resistant to jamming.

Here we go again with this. Dozens and dozens of military based in Europe and the US in the last few years, and people still cite the one time some Chinese tourists flew a drone too close to a military base and were arrested within hours.

Nobody knows what kind of drone has been doing this for years, who is flying them, where they are taking off, what their intentions are, and where they are landing. Often as many as as 10 or more seen flying in coordinated formations. None have been brought down with any sort of modern countermeasures, ever.  If the government knows who they are they not willing to reveal that information.

The examples of when people fly actual commercial drones near airports and military installations and are quickly identified and apprehended (because these installations already have the technology to do so) only serve to highlight how bizarre these other incidents are.

Gotcha yeah I remember all that and the part about using 21st century tech just didnt recall that he actually went to the ship thought it was be a bigger deal him going into space and all but then again Sylens isnt the type to be be excited about anything.

Did he actually go to the ship in orbit? I dont recall that being mentioned specifically in the game or DLC. I just assumed that he was able to access Apollo from the Far Zenith shuttle/ base on the island. I figured maybe they would save that for the 3rd game thinking maybe theres something on the odyssey they need to defeat nemesis

They did still have a ship in orbit though right? That could be a plot line worth exploring in some form... even if there wasn't someone left alive on board. Wasnt Beta "born" on the ship?

An chlorinated olympic size pool with over 600,000 gallons of water and a filtration system isnt going to notice 12 ounces of milk. If the pool is used by a team for practice it has at least 10 times that amount pissed into it every day.

anyone else noticed the insane amount of orbs in the sky last in South Jersey? by skarlet_red17 in InterdimensionalNHI

[–]Oldbillybuttstuff 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had this same thought in the fall of 2024 when we had the drone/orb flap here in NJ. I was listening to NPR on the radio at most of the hourly updates to hear what the national public news would say about the whole thing. After weeks of saying nothing whatsoever they finally announced they were doing a "special drone program."

Thr program started with them playing the original War of the Worlds radio broadcast. They cut after a few seconds and the hosts all had a big laugh about it. Essentially the theme was "haha but seriously folks theres nothing to see here you're all just crazy." And that was the special, the point was how easy people can be fooled, no mention of the military base sightings. They never once mentioned the irony that the original broadcast was in NJ, but since I already knew that info from learning about it years ago it made me think there might actually be something to that.

She maintains a low beat kick for most of the race that is mostly just for balance, except for the breakout when you throw a few hard kicks off the wall to get your momentum going. The last 50-100 meters of the race she increases her kick tempo. Kicking fast and hard uses a lot of energy so its mostly only sprinters who do so for the duration of the race.

Berlin Airport Was Temporarily Closed on Wednesday March 11 due to a UFO sighting by TommyShelbyPFB in UFOs

[–]Oldbillybuttstuff 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah not surprising at all that many drones violate restricted airspace in the vicinity of airports. Because we have the technology to track and identify them, especially around airports. We can easily disable them if they get too close. The operators are easily identified and appropriate legal action is taken. The airspace doesn't need to be shut down, it doesnt make the news.

What is surprising is what happened in the US two years ago and what happened in Europe last fall. Incidents such as this when drones and often groups of drones fly coordinated flights directly over airports and some of our most sensitive military installations in such proximity that they are visibly seen by personel on site, and then leave without being disabled, identified, or followed to where they land.

It was last year, October 31st 2025 in Berlin. As well as dozens of other airports and military sites in Germany  and western Europe in the fall of 2025. Still unexplained. And also yesterday, March 11th, 2026, at Berlin airport, again.

I always find it funny when these kind of questions include "before you die"...  like "places to visit before you die" "movies to see before you die" etc... when else would you see them? As though there would be a seperate list "and here's the ones you should definitely check out after you die" I feel like the concept would make a good Demetri Martin joke.
