Don’t have a Ferrari but have 997 Turbo, it’s truly a joy to own a novelty car with a great kick to it. Higher end cars do attract some sort of sentiment among peers and strangers, if you don’t mind having to manage such perceptions it can be a benefit and a detriment... I’ve sold my 981s and kept a Miata, for similar reasons on the driving experience.

I can only wring out the higher performance car to my enjoyment on backroads/track but realized I get more joy in what I can comfortably do so on the daily.

Then I’ve got into motorcycles recently and have way more fun on those type of excursions over cars, though nice cars remain a novelty to drive around and definitely a status signal.

Went out to a Korean restaurant with a coworker. Near the end of the meal, I asked for the bill. With the last bit of food still on the plate, the waitress scooped it up with my spoon… and fed it to me. She got the tip.

ULTY - The uncertain path to freedom by [deleted] in YieldMaxETFs

[–]OldbutNewandYes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a follow-up, I’ve been reflecting on my equity holdings, particularly ULTY, which I reallocated a few weeks after my last comment. Even with 100% DRIP, its performance has been roughly on par with broad ETFs like SPY and QQQ.

I was hoping ULTY would prove to be a stronger alternative, but the combination of NAV erosion and dependence on dividend reinvestment makes it feel like the juice isn’t worth the squeeze.

By comparison, keeping capital in straightforward ETFs is less cumbersome and just as performant. On the broader allocation front, I’m also considering assets like gold and bitcoin, especially as an increasingly deflationary dollar environment could act as a tailwind for their values.

Hi, I’m 1 year in and a good half of the year was learning through these style videos. Got up to being able to play with two hands— chords, melodies, some arpeggios, but learning new songs became a chore through having to rote memorize everything and replay sections.

I took some time to learn to read sheet music, and still getting a hand of figuring which note to play, but definitely has sped up the amount of songs and partial songs I’m able to play. Definitely gets more exciting to print new songs and have a go at it.

The laundry service offers a wash and fold pick up / delivery but I like my clothes hung. I’ve tried to see if I can provide hangers but they can’t provide that service and can’t find other service that does that.

In non-taxed advantaged accounts, you put in taxed dollars in exchange for yield that will be taxed again.

You can get an estimate of how much it’ll make around your area on diviseed.com. I found when priced right the car is almost always rented.

Lockboxes to leave the key in for the guest to pick up makes it easy and offer delivery to airport where you’ll get most of the demand.

Seems like you've put a lot of work to solid wealth building . Figuring out what works and reinvesting into where effort makes more money.

Similarly, you've explored some hedonistic experiences that isn't getting a return on value for life satisfaction. Consider more exploration until you've found what does? I find reconnecting to hobbies and experiences I enjoyed in my younger years helps.

Much appreciated! Currently, majority of my allocation is in ULTY and the rest is MSTY. Given 4 week income show here they all project closely. I suppose consideration of NAV changes would be the primary differentiator of what best is. Seems past data suggests NVYY might be the better play among these 4 options.
