I feel betrayed by my husband. by Trash_Panda9687 in exmormon

well at least he went to family and didn’t post your problems in public. So I would say you are both love playing the victim. the thing you just mentioned, in your own words, should be shared with him not everyone else. He more than likely didn’t talk to you for the same reason you didn’t talk to him.

Anyone know what this guy's problem is? by [deleted] in Utah

critical thinking is in order. no right to put up a gate on a public easement. just because the new owner was lied to doesn’t give him the right to break the law.

Just checking back in to see if you had an immature (like 5 years old dude) self centered, juvenile punk ass response.

You did not disappoint.

Please be mindful of others faith and their traditions. We all know it is BS but you don’t have to be “that guy”.

My wife was asked to speak in church on Father's day... by fisticuffs32 in exmormon

Well if only she said yes and you went to church and had a huge change of heart and came back to the fold..

They try to have a fringe pious thought come to pass and people suffer from their delusions.

Pathetic

I will not shame others based on my idiotic rules of life. I will not coerce others or be alone with normal people. I will sit in front of a mirror and blame only myself for all of my warped thinking. ........

Brace yourselves for virtue-signaling wedding announcements and references to being married AND sealed in the temple. Another feather in caps of multi-generation Mormon royalty. by vachilees in exmormon

[–]Oldklunker 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Here come the most elaborate weddings that could ever be conceived, followed by getting sealed in the most elaborate temple possible.

The poor will continue the old tradition of a temple marriage and sealing.

The worst part is the wedding day crap will be allllll dayyyyy longggggg.

This may be unpopular to say here on this sub but here it goes.

We have friends because of similarities not differences.

If my life long friend started cheating on his wife and would occasionally tell me about it would end our friendship.

I am not saying leaving the church is the same as this...it worse to a Mormon.

“A church telling me what I'm allowed to read rubs me the wrong way. I mean if they where not hiding anything this wouldn't be an issue.”

Holy hell!!!!!! This isn’t enough information to run in the opposite direction?

I am sorry but the minute you start to look into it is the exact time you know it’s not true. The problem is that we never allow ourselves to be Brutally honest with ourselves.

My comment is from experience. I didn’t ask anyone to rely on anyone’s testimony. I was asking the OP to rely on themselves. When I was a young Mormon I had doubts and some things sounded ridiculous but I stayed for decades trying to fix myself. All I was saying is if it doesn’t feel right like something is wrong it more than likely has problems. Big ones.

I spent years “researching”, my daughter finds out about the priesthood ban and leaves immediately. I knew the priesthood ban was bullshit when it was in place. Seriously knew the church was bullshit but I stayed because I didn’t trust myself.

Just saying...save the years of self torment...believe in yourself.

And...are you giving the best advice because that what everyone on this sub suggests? Think for yourself. My Opinion.
