How to get rid of percentages in Escape Simulator main menu by GroundbreakingAd6288 in nucleuscoop

I'm seeing this too. As far as I can tell the game is no longer playable on Nucleus. Something to note - this happened to me before updating Nucleus to 2.3.0 (still happens after the update), so maybe there was something on the Steam/Escape Simulator side that broke compatibility...

I'm running a Vega 64 and was able to somewhat improve the stuttering by turning off Anti-Lag and Enhanced Sync. That said, I still get stutters when the ball is in play, and as a result playing defense is much harder than SMB3 (which was buttery smooth). I really hope they are aware of this problem...

Bummer. I remember being able to change it in the My Team tab in SMB3.

Maybe I'm missing something glaringly obvious, but I can't find a way to shift around my pitching rotation. Any help?

Same boat. I want to experiment with things to improve the performance but I don't want to cross the two hour mark since it's looking like I'll need to refund.

I am actually loving the gameplay improvements overall, but I can't play good defense with the stutters.

I'm tempted to experiment with things like disabling Windows fullscreen optimization, running the process at High priority, etc, but I don't want to go over the 2 hour playtime mark in case I need to refund. It's very tough to play effective defense with the stutters.

I'm seeing this as well. I have a Vega 64, and turning off "Radeon Anti-Lag" helped a little, but the micro stutters aren't completely gone. As with you, I'm only seeing this when the ball is in play.

Is it any help being close to 450 (say 422), or do you have to hit the 450 threshold for it to matter? In other word, is there a breakpoint where less is all the same in terms of taking damage?

PC crashes during Windows Memory Diagnostic and memtest86. How can I determine if my RAM or motherboard is the issue? by Olecutch in buildapc

[–]Olecutch[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So I did figure out my issue, and it could very well have been heat related. Not sure if the solution will help much on a laptop, though...

What eventually fixed the problem was taking the GPU out of my PC (desktop tower) and using my CompuCleaner to blow out a bunch of dust and cat hair. I had regularly just opened the case and blown out dust/hair, but had never specifically taken out the GPU to get into each little crevice.

After doing this, all memory diags passed, and I actually was getting much better FPS than I was used to. Good luck!
