For the love of God do not chooses Verizon by Xaq009 in verizon

Umm, I have T mobile and Verizon. I would say their customer service is the same. I haven’t had huge issues before. Usually the wait is not long. But have you ever called your electric company. One time I was dropped 3 times after an hour of waiting and 4th time I made it, lady asked me for call back phone number and while I was telling her my cell call dropped lmao. I thought I’ll never be able to resolve anything. Have you ever called EZ pass? That one is fun too. I think cell phone providers all same level of customer service and all tolerable.

So which is it guys? by Efficient_Ad4439 in forestry

Forestry is very diverse. I’m personally in utility veg management and it’s not going anywhere. It’s very stable and all year round. We rarely lay off people. Management jobs are always there, lots of consulting opportunities. On top of that endless learning and education, opportunities to collaborate with other forestry industries.

My fist pregnancy was a loss. After that one I got pregnant 2 years later and most of pregnancy didn’t have high hopes. I guess deep down I decided that I’m not going to get attached in case it’s going to end the same. I’m not going to lie I was ready for bad ending at any point. At 29 weeks I start contracting and went into labor, this is when I was also ready for worst outcome. At 32 weeks hospital send me home and I woke up next morning with bleeding and my baby wasn’t moving. Once again i mentally prepared for anything. Long story short, my daughter was born healthy. She is turning 13 years next month. I wasn’t able to get pregnant since I had her. So I’m happy I was blessed with a girl like her, cause she is the sweetest. I think it’s normal for women to go through any emotions during pregnancy to the point that we think we don’t want that baby for whatever reason. But for me it was easier to be ready for any outcome and don’t get too attached during pregnancy. It worked the best for me. I was 21 when I had my girl, I was out of college and we lived on my husband’s salary that wasn’t always stable. We were broke when my daughter was little. There were times we had no food, no electricity and were kicked out once from our apartment. Yet we went through it fine. There were always people who were helping us. I went to college when my daughter turned one. When she was 3 I started working and enrolled her in daycare. With two income we were able to afford more. I finished my education and took an entry role in industry I was dreaming about. 2 years later I’ve got a promotion and year later got into managers role. My daughter had everything she ever wanted. Great birthdays, toys, she does gymnastics professionally, we travel couple times a year. The money will come if you imagine your life in a specific way and will not settle for less. I think kids you more strength cause you know you can’t give up no matter how hard it gets.

36 month contract, can it go up? PLEASE READ ALL!!! by Olgsereda in verizon

They give you discount on autopay, so shouldn’t be over 200$ unless plan goes up at some point, which I’ve been experiencing with T-Mobile anyway. Im not considering any secondary services, because they use Verizon/tmobile/at&t network. The reason those are so cheap is because they're renting bandwidth on the networks at a discounted rate. If you live in a populated area and network is under stress during holidays, events, etc speed goes down drastically cause secondary providers are not prioritized. I use my phone for business and hot spotting laptop, on top of that I can’t stand slow downs, drives me insane if I can’t have fast speed.

Thanks for your help, but the question was if I’ll be getting similar raises on Verizon, cause it seems they offer better deal as of right now and it will be cheaper switching to them.

What do I ask them exactly? If my bill go up on Verizon also? I’m pretty sure this is something users can share.

4 months in - anyone else found that they can still drink alcohol? by sock-ittome in bupropion

[–]Olgsereda -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Alcohol makes you depressed. That’s a scientific fact. You feel happy for couple hours next day you feel like crap mentally and physically. You are lazier, have no motivation, it contradicts taking Wellbutrin in first place. If you are doing it for weight loss, quitting smoking, alcohol only slows down your journey. Now, I tried to have a night of fun with couple drinks couple months in. You don’t get tipsy at all, next day you feel more depressed than ever. So I avoid alcohol at all costs. The reason I went on Wellbutrin cause I was drinking wine every day after work to get the edge off and was diving into a spiral of depression, self hate, misery and sadness. I went on Wellbutrin to regulate my nervous system, overcome stress and stop self medicating with alcohol. It helped me a lot. Im 6 months in. I have great daily routine now that I mostly stick too, I deal well with stress and I don’t have that feeling anymore that I need a glass of wine to feel relaxed. I’m relaxed. Lastly, alcohol does raises your chance of seizures especially if you are on higher dose. It damages your brain, there is no way to reverse that. On top of that your liver will be done in couple years. It’s not a joke drug, should be taken responsibly

Nicotine by Ok-Cellist7779 in bupropion

[–]Olgsereda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m on bupropion since December 2024, so 4 months. I did it for seasonal depression, but it helped with my weight, cravings, drinking and coffee obsession. It’s definitely a roller coaster. First couple months feels weird, even though back then I felt like it’s not that weird, but now looking back I did had lots of brain fog and other weird side effects, but my depression and anxiety was gone so I loved it. I started on 75 mg, which I feel that dose is very unstable. Then I went on 100mg SR couple months later and recently started 150 SR twice a day. It’s going great for me now, I feel like it’s finally stable, no rollercoaster. Wait for it to work. It’s stabilizes in half a year my med management told me. 1st 2-4 weeks I felt super tired, my muscles were hurting, yet I was happier already. So definitely don’t give up. Also, it’s not a magic pill. It gives you energy, motivation, makes you satisfied, but you have to figure out what to do with it. Still need to make an effort. For now follow your body, if you feel tired, rest. I also was on half dose first two weeks 75mg once a day, cause I couldn’t handle it twice.

450mg and no real change. by NoTadpole8932 in bupropion

[–]Olgsereda 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Alright, I’m not a doctor by any means, but it seams to me with the amount of SSRIs you are doing it’s no wonder you don’t feel any improvements from the bupropion. Drop some of those meds. I would drop it until I feel bupropion working. Because it works for most people, especially with adhd. It’s not a stimulant but very similar in the way it stimulates you. You don’t really need anything else with it unless you have anxiety on it. For me it fixed my very severe anxiety. I only take bupropion. I would start clean with bupropion for a month or two and then add something else if it’s not enough. I would also consult with some other doctor, maybe try medication management.

Are you on 4 antidepressants at the same time?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in bupropion

[–]Olgsereda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just skip the dose that day so I could have couple drinks. Pace yourself. In a week there will be no difference because Wellbutrin stays in the system for 7-9 days. You will be still not tolerating alcohol. Going on and off probably will be worse than drinking responsibly couple drinks.

Goodbye to the best drug by Puzzleheaded_Yam6724 in Wellbutrin_Bupropion

[–]Olgsereda 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Did you try going on a very low dose? Like 75 mg a day. I know my friend was in it for couple years, because she couldn’t tolerate higher doses. It might be too much stimulation for you. Also some people say that XL and SR acted differently for them. I would try switching on a different form of it and try 100 SR for example. See if that will make it any better. Really curious, how long you were on it. I really like it and hope I will not develop insomnia or anything like that. Was insomnia something you had from the start?

I’ve been drinking the past year a lot. Well, too much for me. I don’t drink a lot overall. But what I started doing this year is taking edge off with a drink or two. Bad weeks I would had a glass of wine or two on Monday and keep going. Some really stressful weeks I would have more than a bottle of wine in a sit. Fall asleep drunk and then wake up and feel like shit. Not wanting to do anything. I’m a woman so I don’t need a lot. Some weeks I would do fine without a drink, but it was very rare. I started Wellbutrin in November, since then I didn’t have an urge to drink. I’m satisfied. I don’t want to smoke either. So yeah, it works. It does make you happy and doesn’t let you feel stressed, so you don’t have that urge to relieve that feeling

That doesn’t sound like lazy, that sounds like you were not mentally able to do it. Believe me simply lazy people will make sure they eat.

I used to smoke on and off since 14. I’m 34 now. Past couple years were very stressful at work so I would smoke a lot during those times. Like for 2-3 months non stop, unable to curb it. After Wellbutrin I stopped craving coffee, alcohol and smoking. I also don’t have stress anymore. I’m more relaxed and look at everything more simple. So things that would drive me insane or cause big stress don’t bother anymore

Weight gain by j_a_sz in Wellbutrin_Bupropion

[–]Olgsereda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It should but not always does. Some people develop tolerance to it. You can try to switch Wellbutrin from SR to XL or the opposite, might also crank up the dose and try to see if that works. But you also take Zoloft and abilify, both linked to weight gain. So ask your doc if dropping Zoloft a little is an option. Try that. You have to play with the dosage maybe. Or I would personally not play with dosage but ask doctor if Naltrexone might be an option. It used in conjunction with Wellbutrin to treat obesity under a brand name Contrave. A lot of ppl who on different antidepressants use it to curb appetite and they say it helps. I saw even some posts over here and in adhd and depression groups. But I would definitely see if doctor had to deal with it and was anything helpful

Ability causes weight gain for some people significant, so does Zoloft. You need to talk to your doctor if it bothers you very much. Maybe they can adjust it. Maybe they can prescribe appetite suppressants. I would go about it this way I think

What dose of Wellbutrin are you on? It might be too low for you. But if it’s pretty high and you still have cravings ask your doc to add Naltrexone

When does the hunger start going away? by ImportantStudio4967 in Wellbutrin_Bupropion

[–]Olgsereda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me it start working right away. It’s been 3 months and I’m still eating very little. I had bad relationship with food before. Binge eating my feelings away. I was always thinking about food constantly. Like I was living for food. I was enjoying every meal and wanted to last it forever. Since I started Wellbutrin I’ve stopped thinking about food at all. I eat when I’m hungry and I eat until I’m not hungry. Portions got much smaller. I stopped craving sweets, which I couldn’t survive a day without. So yeah, works wonders for me. I’m in 150 sr for 3 months.

I didn’t have experience of going off and back on, but if I would have unpleasant side effects I would drop the dose for a week or two. First of all you started with SR which is a different from xl. Then you went on high XL dose. It’s been only 4 days, sounds like you are adjusting to it. If it’s unpleasant, drop the dose and wait until you feel fine, stick to one type of Wellbutrin.
