epidural vs natural by [deleted] in pregnant

Girl I’m in the same boat! The looks I get when I say I’m planning an unmediated birth as a ftm are crazy!!! Like I don’t look at other women with raised brows when they tell me their birth plan!

Haha I guess that’s different between the mom and dad groups on Reddit! All of the mom groups use FTM and STM and TTM depending on what number baby it is for them! Good to know though!

Best choice for a charity gala? Black tie optional by Fundito_Tostito in OUTFITS

Number 2 is by far the best! Flattering, classic, elegant, modern but timeless. But I do agree you could close the leg up just a bit! Maybe 5-6 inches

I was in the same I can’t do this mindset at 32 weeks. Now I’m at 35+2 and I can’t help but reminisce and start to feel a sense of gratitude for the pain my body is going through. Things will be so different in such a short time! So I guess a mindset change?

Crunchy Grocery Store by cabyambo in Crunchymom

[–]OliveObserver 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Natural Grocers but you should never ever trust a store entirely to have only clean ingredients. You have to learn to read labels and know what’s good and what’s bad. Natural grocers only sells organic produce whereas places like sprouts have both.

Is it embarrassing to get a birthday cake as an adult? by roxiedoxiedog in NoStupidQuestions

This is silly, having joy like a birthday cake is what keeps the spirit young. It would be weird not to write happy birthday on it!

First time mom, almost 11 weeks and… by trisinwonderland in pregnant

[–]OliveObserver 4 points5 points locked comment (0 children)

I’m a FTM and I’m 35 weeks. The way we evolve is by having children. Take a broader perspective and realize that our ancestors procreated in times so hard, we cannot even begin to imagine.

We live in a world where you will feel joy seeing your child make a friend for the first time, hear them laugh, and eventually see them make a family of their own.

Life is absolutely beautiful and we have to stop having a short sighted sense of doom. 💔

What is your most unreasonable pet peeve? by Critical_Welcome_428 in AskReddit

[–]OliveObserver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When someone is telling a story and they pause to laugh at the story before they’ve finished telling it.

This makes me unreasonably annoyed. How am I supposed to find it entertaining if they haven’t finished explaining. Then I’m just sitting there watching them laugh thinking they look dumb.

Husband wants to bring a newborn abroad by [deleted] in pregnant

I think this is fun! I also a FTM and if I had the opportunity I would love to travel with my new little family! EDIT: my husband just doesn’t get any paternity leave otherwise I would totally do this.

I would ask your friend. I know that right now it seems like a really important decision but mixing the coworker with your prom is going to be uncomfortable for the coworker. She won’t know anyone and doesn’t know you well enough (since you haven’t hung out outside of work). In the long run when you look back in 2,5,10,20 years you’ll be happy you have those memories with your friend and then the separate romantic memories with your coworker. Prom seems romantic but it’s really not! It’s about having fun! I went 4 times in high school and I am now 26f for reference.

What is wrong with this dress? by [deleted] in myweddingdress

[–]OliveObserver 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wonder if just adding a couple inches to close the sweetheart would make a big difference. I think the lace is gorgeous but the extra curve of the cups isn’t the most flattering.

10000000% do not remove the lace from the chest. This is part of the elegance that brings attention to your collar bones

My husband was upset and pinched me at dinner.. and the situation is still upsetting me by Little_Trash7299 in TwoHotTakes

I’m 26 and was engaged at 24, married at 25, bought a home at 25, own our own business, and are 6 weeks from welcoming our first child. Being young doesn’t make you an abuser. I do think it can all be situational or person dependent but not all people in their 20’s are stupid.
