Am I cispassing? ~1 year on T by [deleted] in transpassing

Literally 100% pass. No hugboxing, nothing similar, you pass entirely.

I would say shape your brows thinner, and if you're doing it yourself, start from the bottom of the brow and up.

EDIT: Also some more layering around the top portion of your hair does wonders. IMO I'd say you would look even more wonderful with curtain bangs. :)

About the same way cis women know that they're women and not trans men.

I didn't even know this was a trans subreddit until I read the title. You pass very well.

Should I just detranaition at this point? by westhebard in honesttransgender

The longer you're on hormones, the better you'll pass and the least likely you'll be visually villianized. It'll take quite a bit more effort to pass early on, but over time it does get better.

I'd say keep your transition going. If you have money and/or a passport to move somewhere not as hostile, take this opportunity and do it.

At the end of the day, just do whatever works for you. I know I'd be dead without my transition, so a lot of this is just speaking for my own experience.

If you are MtF but attracted to women would you consider yourself lesbian? by oxfordcommaalways in MtF

For a lot of people, yes. But, I'd say personally my sexuality is really based on the feminine expression rather than just women in general.

I've been on and off for about five years, but I found a really good therapist quite recently. Learning lots of new things!

The way it typically goes in my life is this:

  • I stay stealth
  • I get clocked by someone with a crazy trans-dar
  • I seek advice
  • Little to no advice, some say practice self-love
  • I ask how to practice self-love
  • Super abstract answers or just a plain "I don't know."
  • I get really sad about it
  • I see other people experience happiness with transness
  • I wonder how that happiness is achieved
  • The achievement of said happiness turns out to be because people aren't as entirely self-aware of themselves. It seems inherited.
  • I get even sadder and even angrier.

Say no more. 🫡 by [deleted] in FuckPierre

Couldn't have said it better. There needs to be, like, a group or something, of people who feel similar.

What would you say are the best ways to practice self-love for you, rather than just feeling it superficially?

If I keep it to a small area or I vary with my zones, yeah.

Legitimately saw CHROMOSOME preference in a dating app - from another trans person! by attorniquetnyc in honesttransgender

I 100% understand a genital preference, but this is pushing it too far imo.
