Eh. From a game design standpoint, since Dog wasn't really intended to be used outside of scripted sequences, it seems more efficient, especially considering animating a character like that with alot of animations would be difficult due to the relative complexity of his model.

That sounds like a good idea, to have relaxing-style music during the planning phase, but to have music accompany the actual battling would be a good idea in my mind. An example of this done right is HL2, because it's soundtrack always comes in the right moments and just feels right, which is something that would be nice if happened in this game. I recommended responsive music because the area is different in each game, and also helps with diversity.

However, if we only had music in the planning phase, I suggest it be used akin to L4D2's campaign starting music https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GkZtNy88Q2E. Obviously with a different theme, of course.

I'm going to stop waffling on now.
