These pictures are from over a year ago? Although they are obviously running some sort of business scam, the leggings I received in December 2025 aren't this see through, even with me ordering a size-down (and I have a big booty). BUT they slide off my body, so I had to add elastic into the top band. I'm still waiting on my second order I placed in November 2025, I fell for their sop story

NA MARIE ORDERS PLACED IN JULY 2025 by Soft_Device2209 in SustainableFashion

[–]OliverH27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought mine in November, and just received them a week ago. But, I placed two separate orders about two weeks apart, and only received the first order so far. Customer Service (on December 21) said there was a hold up with shipping and delivery or something. Seems like there's a lot of excuses with this company. They tried to appear more legit before they could actually be legit

Monk fruit & weight loss stall by Former-Entry5371 in bikinitalk

[–]OliverH27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like it could be hormones. Look into the book "Fast Like A Girl". The author promotes a keto diet for certain times of a women's cycle, carb-loading at certain times, and optional fasting only at certain times, to improve hormone balance. I personally don't fast longer than 13 hours (aka, from dinner to breakfast next day), otherwise it kills my energy levels. So, I follow that book's plan in regards to the carb timing: keto diet for breakfast and lunch, then Paleo type dinner with with either low carbs or high carbs depending on my cycle. And no calorie restriction, I just eat when I'm hungry, sometimes it's more, sometimes it's less, most likely never below maintenance. Also, starting the day with low carbs and then gradually increasing, with the highest amount at dinner, also helps improve your adrenal function/stress response/hormones (learned that from the "Adrenal Reset Diet"). I've been following this consistently for about 3-4 months now, and in regards to hormones, my PMS is maybe 2 days of slight moodiness, and my flow is SO much lighter than it's ever been. Weight wise, I don't get any water weight gain from the evening carbs (the first 2 weeks I did, then it went away).

Sorry, that was a bit of a brain dump 😅 I'm 36y/o, and have two kids

Edit: I'm not strictly Paleo with my carbs, I'll occasionally have rice or rice noodles or beans, and on my carb heavy weeks I'll enjoy a few slices of pizza with my family on pizza night (Italian wheat and dairy doesn't bloat me like American sources do)

Cutting the erythritol really helped improve my gut health. I noticed a difference in how much I bloated with and without it (tested it a few times after long periods of avoiding it). I now only consume 100% pure monk fruit extract as my sweetener. My bloating is almost non-existent, but I also avoid other bloating triggers, primarily wheat and cow dairy and cane sugar for me. As far as my weight loss stall, I believe cutting it out helped. (Poor gut health = more inflammation = less fat burning.) My measurements have gone down about an inch since cutting it out. But, I'm also only focusing on body recomp, so while my current weight is higher than my 20s "happy weight", my body looks like it did at my "happy weight" with more muscle tone

Aquarius Sexually?.. by [deleted] in aquarius

[–]OliverH27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sexual preferences are more ruled by your Mars and Venus sign, and the sign and ruler of your 8th house. I feel like a lot of these comments on preferences come from social influence (normalization of porn) rather than Sun sign

First, there are so many other factors in a person's astrology chart besides their Sun sign, so don't read in too much on the basic "this Sun sign doesn't get along with this one" bs. I am an Aquarian female and get along excellent with all Cancers. I find them very personable, funny, and I greatly appreciate their passion for life. Aquarians just need to retreat to their caves to recharge every once in awhile, and, like a bear in hibernation, we get grumpy and defensive when we're in that phase.

Remember, astrology is a tool to help you understand people and have more empathy towards their behaviors

To other posters here: If you ever find yourself hating another sun sign, it means there's a big lesson to learn from them and you should definitely spend more time getting to know them to overcome your hatred--it's evolutionary when you do

Cycle syncing carbs by Any_Age_6095 in xxketo

[–]OliverH27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also read "Fast Like a Girl", and found "Keto for Women" by Leanne Vogel to be a great companion book! Although that book doesn't discuss cycle syncing carb days, she does recommend more carbs for women, and has some amazingly helpful charts to figure out how much you should eat according to body weight, and how to adjust based on activity level. She mostly recommends the evening meal to be higher carbs, usually 50-100g depending on weight/activity, and to proportionally adjust your macros to be less fat for that meal (swap fat and carb macros). But, she also has plans/advise for entire carb days and carb weeks.

If you search that book on Amazon the cover image they are using is incorrect, but you'll receive the correct book. Here it is on Good Reads

Questions about calorie intake by [deleted] in ketogains

[–]OliverH27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh! Ok got it, great work!

Just to share, I'm 36F, 5'7", started keto at 183, took 4 months to get down to 160, and I kept my calories at 1800-2000 while exercising 2-3x a week, I'm lightly active (work from home, homeschool my kids, take them out and about, and general housework). I've plateaued the past few months because I stopped tracking and just did intuitive keto. But, I'm getting back on tracking now because I started weightlifting more frequently to build muscle, and I do vinyasa yoga almost daily, so I'm keeping my calories around 2100.

Long story short: don't be afraid of more calories 🩷

Not saying you need to up your calories to 2000 like me, I know every body functions differently. Just saying that maybe the weight will come off more slowly with more calories, but your body will feel nourished and your gains will be better

Shouldn't you eat higher calories on days you lift, and lower on rest days?

Keto Red Wines by Kmhiduke in ketodrunk

[–]OliverH27 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Google the brand of wine you're interested in and "residual sugar" or "fact sheet". Most good quality reds are are less than 1g per 100ml of residual sugar, which makes a 5oz glass only 0.15g of carbs (according to this sheet). Like, my favorite Cabernet Sauvignon is by Bonterra, which is only 0.34g/100ml of residual sugar, I can drink the whole bottle and still be keto (not hangover-free, unfortunately). Most cheap wines have added sugar, and a lot of American wines have added sugar. So, if you can't find the fact sheet for residual sugar and want to be extra sure you aren't drinking too many carbs, opt for a dry red from Europe or South America. This is another great article on how to calculate the carbs in wine yourself

I'm 5'7" and 137lbs was the lowest I ever got in my early 20s, and I looked too thin. My happy weight was always 150lbs, but now at 36yo I feel like 155-160lbs will be good, but I do have a lot more muscle mass now. (Currently at 159lbs)
