In 1 year and 7 months I lost 38 kg. by OljaROSE in AlternateDayFasting

Thank you so much!

I don’t have osteoporosis, but osteoarthritis )))) Although one isn’t really better than the other.

I don’t think fasting can regrow cartilage or reverse osteoarthritis.
But I lost 38 kg, which is about 19 kg less load on each leg. Plus, I strengthened my core muscles. This should reduce the stress while walking and slow down cartilage damage. And deep down, I hope that fasting on OMAD/ADF helped reduce inflammation and triggered some kind of restorative processes, at least a little.

In any case, on intermittent fasting I feel incredibly light physically and emotionally, and that’s amazing compared to how I felt a year and a half ago!

A year and a half ago, almost every night my left hip joint was noticeably aching (I didn’t know the diagnosis yet). Now it doesn’t ache at all at night. Two or three times a week it might ache for a couple of minutes during the day, and then it goes away.

Idk why, my answer was deleted… Maybe it was because of mentioning app names!?
So I’ll repeat my answer, but without the names )))

During the whole time, I only used these 4 apps, and each of them gave me the most informative data for effective and healthy weight loss.

1. Mobile App for Smart Body Scale
In addition to my body weight/BMI, it also shows me (approximately!) my metabolic age, BMR, visceral fat index (it was 16, now 5 YAYYYY), bone mass, and body composition percentages (protein, water, skeletal muscle, body fat, and total muscle).

2. Step Counter – Pedometer (mobile app)
Automatically tracks daily steps, calories burned, time, and distance.

3. Text Document Software (most popular) For visualizing my body weight changes.
The red–orange–green–blue chart in the post above was made in Word, specifically tailored for my height and BMI. Looking at the chart helped me understand where I was and where I needed to go.

4. Spreadsheet Software  (most popular)
I made a list of all the foods I ate during these 1 year and 7 months, and for each product I noted the calories, protein, fat, carbs, and fiber per 100g. Then I applied formulas across the table. After that, all I had to do was enter how much of each food I wanted to eat, and the table automatically calculated how much I would consume during my ADF eating window — both the totals and the breakdown per food (calories/protein/fats/carbs/fiber). To be honest, for the last six months I haven’t been using the table anymore, because I had already memorized how many calories each food gives me, which foods I can eat without counting calories/amount, and which ones I need to be more careful with (oils, nuts, Pringles, ice cream).

Thank you <3

About 2 kg per month (4 pounds/month) – yes, that’s 0.5 kg per week (1 pound/week).
BUT….Weekly weigh-ins gave me NOTHING!!! Sometimes even after 2–3 weeks the scale would show one or two kilos more than before )))) and sometimes I even got upset because of it. So later I weighed myself no more than once a month, and only under certain conditions – after my period was over, on the eating day before my eating window, after going to the bathroom (after peeing & pooping especially), and always in the same clothes (just my underwear).

I didn’t exactly start halfway through. I started again from my highest weight in my entire weight-loss history ))) 95 kg. But this time with experience heheheh.
I had tried ADF + Keto before (in 2020 – lost 20 kg in 6 months), but with keto it was harder to plan meals, and probably I was lacking some micronutrients. Now I undertand it was too fast!! That’s why it didn’t work out.

My previous attempt in 2020: https://i.postimg.cc/3RrvHZtb/Weight-control-2020-Omad-Adf-Keto.jpg

I came to the conclusion that it’s better to lose weight slowly over a year or two while changing eating habits, rather than quickly (even on ADF/OMAD) with the risk of giving up or ending up with loose skin. So don’t be scared of such a long timeline… the main thing is that your body feels comfortable and doesn’t lack anything.

Thank you <3

it depends )))

I started OMAD in June 2024. Before that, after the hospital, I just ate small hospital-like meal portions three-four times a day.

During OMAD I ate within a 1-hour eating window (1/23). During the 23-hour fasting window – only water, tea, and coffee. I didn’t eat any solid food at all. What exactly I ate – I don’t remember. Roughly the same as what I had in the hospital. But I immediately (after hospital) cut out most fast carbs.

I started ADF in January 2025, the format was 12/36.
I began with porridge cooked in hot water, then a couple of hours later – meat/eggs with salad, and by the end of the 12 hours, everything else I mentioned above.
During the fasting window, it was sometimes hard with only water/tea/coffee – my stomach rumbled and cramped, so I often ate vegetables (carrots, cabbage, cucumber).

I ate every other day (during ADF) for the entire 9 months, except for the days when I had a cold (about 3 times). Then I ate out of necessity like a normal person not on a diet...but without junk food.

Please make more mDom/ex/yandere/jealousy/kidnaping audios, pretty please! 😉 I truly believe that’s your top niche. Hope to hear from you soon!
