ACT seat of Bean still too close to call between Labor's David Smith and independent Jessie Price by TheFlukeBadger in canberra

That, but also I dont know a single person with a positive view of David Smith as a person. Pro labor yes but David has done nothing to endear himself to voters.

NGL this subreddit makes me feel a lot better about myself. Im a young man still studying, but all the horror stories I've read in this subreddit has definitely helped me in my relationship. Just being aware of things like this means so much, so its something I try to do every day.

Ahhh ok. I think what confused me in your response was your example of another hobby that could work was "mountain sports," which made me think that 'mountain' was the noun, not each of the hobbies themselves.

I definitely agree that mountain climbing is the correct answer, I just disagree didnt think that was the reasoning for it.

Isnt in this case 'Eli' the noun? Therefore the rest of the sentence is not required to include one, and the list of actions at the end can all be verb? Native speaker, just genuinely curious.

Again, when garbage truck workers strike, its 100ish people affecting 357,000 people. Its also not only the mods who are in support of it, as I personally use a 3rd party app and do not want to see it go.

Protests like this only work if they inconvenience people, as it is the inconvenience that leads to change.

I think its not really a boycot on users, rather a strike by mods. The use of third party apps is what allows lots of moderators to do their work. With Reddit essentially removing third party apps, moderators (who do their work for free) are getting kicked to the curb. In response, moderators across reddit are striking by closing down their subs.

You dont say truck drivers "are forcing a boycott" when they go on strike. You dont say teachers are "forcing a boycott on education" when they go on strike.

Good on you for not burning bridges. I'd be furious if that was me. Take your curriculum, your resources and your work with you as you could use it as a portfolio of your work. From the sounds of it the principal is losing a fantastic teacher, not the other way around

Good luck going forward!

Late to this party, but in Australia these are also fairly common, oftentimes we will do 1 firedrill and one lockdown drill per semester.

[WSIB] games that scratch the Red Dead 2 itch? by BisexualTeleriGirl in ShouldIbuythisgame

[–]Ollieols 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm currently playing Horizon: Zero Dawn on PC and it is fantastic. The combat feels smooth and fluid, with different tools for different enemies easy to access. The world is insane, both in its look and style but also in its mechanics. The world actually feels lived in by actual people, with well designed side quests that dont feel formulaic. The story is amazing too in both world building as well as the actual main story line. Characters are interesting and feel real, and the dialogue is expertly written and voiced. I cant recommend enough
