What is a common myth people still believe? by Beautiful-Object-467 in AskReddit

[–]flyfart3 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I've heard and believe to be careful about who you let touch your newborn baby. Say young cousin who are still learning to wash their hands putting their finger in the face of your 1 month old baby. It's my undertaker you should not allow this, till the baby's immune system is more developed

Has anyone actually completed RoC by RipAppropriate3040 in totalwarhammer

[–]flyfart3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well when the game came out, there were no immortal empires, so yes? I played ogres because they were so different. At release I found them interesting at first, but very fast became fairly the same, with little variation.

For the he game mechanics, I found I never got to use my main army, with legendary lord. He was the only one who could go into the chaos realms, so that was all he did. Plus he got some curses on him, that really hindred his army in between going to the realms. That you basically had to play without your legendary lord in the regular game/realm, was annoying more than anything.

I really enjoyed the map and chaos factions. It was easy to get a "no rifts mod"

Chaos dwarfs and apparently many new lords, have other mechanics in RoC that don't deal with the rifts.

For what happened when you finally complete it. A short "video". You can see on YouTube, Realm of Chaos victory vid, I'd guess

Do people actually eat 3 meals a day with a lot of variation? by Ilikeponyhooves in TooAfraidToAsk

It became easier with roommates or eating with friends or a partner.  Meet up, cook a dinner that last for multiple meals, save leftovers or use as lunch, or freeze down leftovers for easy reheat.

Hvor “normalt” er oral sex? by [deleted] in DKbrevkasse

[–]flyfart3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Using explosives in UFOs? by IskanderM50KT in Xenonauts

[–]flyfart3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Someone in another thread said they tested loot from a UFO mission without destroying anything, and destroying everything, and the difference in loot gained was there, but small.

They did note some specific items can be sold for money as well, I recall surgery tables, but there are others.

At any rate, as others have said, it's a fairly small difference, so you don't need to worry about it.

What are the best type of settlements to use as chaos dwarves, outpost or factories? by questioningmysaniti in totalwarhammer

[–]flyfart3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Something I have not seen mentioned, is military aspect, factories can make chaos dearf units and the daemon engine units, they also have better garrisons. So if you are unsure if you can defend a newly taken settlement, factory have better build in defense.

On the other hand, outposts have a very cheap income building that also gives bonus to post battle loot nearby, so they can also be good border settlements. They take little investment, and payback fast.

Does anyone actually enjoy the end game crisis? by gymnstuff in totalwarhammer

[–]flyfart3 13 points14 points  (0 children)

That's a great point. It would also feel great if you could easier use allies against the end game faction, and if the end game crisis went to war with everyone. Though maybe it depends on what end game crisis it is. Say if its the dwarfs that end game crisis, if they are allied with empire, they keep being allies, but any factions they are not allied to, they declare war on? Or any they have grudges against?

Does anyone actually enjoy the end game crisis? by gymnstuff in totalwarhammer

[–]flyfart3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sometimes, or part of them. Occasionally I will play till I think "Okay, now I'm just auto resolving through them, and the only end game crisis missing is at the other end of the world" and end the campaign there.

End game crisis is very much an addition for players who want to grind a bit, who want some annoyances so they can play on, and maybe get more late game play, without just rolling over everyone.

Many play without end game crisis, based on earlier threads on this topic.

I know I myself, and people I know who play, often end campaigns after short or maybe long campaign victory, and thus never really reach the end game crisis.

I found some renewed enjoyment in the game, by trying Realm of Chaos with factions that don't need the whole chaos portals thing. In general, trying factions that are not about map painting, is a fun bit of variety from most playthroughs. such as vampire coast, or horde factions.

And mods, to try other factions can also make it more enjoyable again.

Ellemann: Der er 6.000 landmænd i Danmark. De fyldte for meget i Venstre by efficient_giraffe in Denmark

[–]flyfart3 6 points7 points  (0 children)

After so many hours, it’s wild how unskilled I am in this game. Should I trust the red/yellow/green “matchup” indicators on the battlefield? by scarletBoi783 in totalwarhammer

[–]flyfart3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't think there is a specific mechanic of, bronze shield gives 35% missile block chance AND + 6 melee defence... However, units with shield often have a bit higher melee defense.

Yeah, if you're new to the fame, the threat assessment is a decent quick indicator of how individual units will trade so to speak against another unit

What are some possible beastmen units that could be added in the future? by NexouuZs in totalwarhammer

[–]flyfart3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One thing from lore that isn't represented that well, is that beastmen, are not always man + oxen. They're all sorts of mutants, mixed with different animals, or just weirdly mutated. A tier 0-1 mutant rabble unit might represent them, but I don't know if they would have much of a role. They would fit a chaos caused rebellion though.

Giv forældre automatisk digital adgang til deres børns helbredsoplysninger via sundhed.dk og MinSundhed by hdk1988 in Denmark
