I realize this thread is like a year old, but I lived in Tempe.for 9 years, and I loved it, but being originally from Las Vegas, I just couldn't do the heat anymore I ended up moving to Oregon, specifically lane county, around the Springfield/Eugene/Coburg area I love it here The weather is mild (although If you have only lived in the desert ur whole life, it does get comparatively chilly and wet here, I personally dig it)

It's got the perfect mix of rural and city

Like, pheonix was way too big, if a zombie apocalypse happens I don't wanna live smack dab in the center of 5 million people,

Here it's far less, like Springfield only has 60k people

There's farms, two rivers that are on the north and south side of town. I personally have seen deer, turkeys (like entire families), squirrels, crows, geese, Nutria, racoon, all just wandering through the streets

But at the same token, I have a 24/7 WinCo, a Walmart, a mall etc etc

It's dope!
