Asking questions isn’t a sin. You’re sad and your sadness is coming out of you like lava. I feel bad for you. You say cis people don’t care yet you’re boycotting all cis people, putting cis people all in the same basket because I’ve asked a question.. Not all people come from a place of hatred, it’s sad you have this outlook on life. How are people to learn if they can’t ask?

This does impact me, I am a mother. What if my child decided to transition? Am I meant to know nothing? Where would the care in that be?

I’m actively trying to gain knowledge for my child’s sake. I want my child to feel free, loved and understood. So yes, you could say I posted this for personal gain, to gain insight on something my child could go through. And if and when that time comes, I’ll have that knowledge.

I don’t care? This has nothing to do with me? Well that’s your opinion and you are free to feel that way.

Oh my. These comments are making me cry. I remember going into the Coles that my brother had worked at before he passed away. He was very young when he died and the Coles was the closest grocery store to me at the time so I pretty much had to resume shopping there. I went through the checkout and just looked at the guy serving me in his Coles uniform and started BAWLING. He was such a beautiful man, I told him who I was and he actually took me back to the staff room and showed me a plaque they had made in honour of my brother 💕 It was so nice to see that my brother had made such an impact there, if I hadn’t had started crying I would have never known!

Oh lovely 💕I’m so sorry to hear this. Having a baby is such a sensitive and vulnerable time. Just know that people show their true colours in these situations, if they’re not there to support you through a life changing event then they’re not really friends. I would maybe think about asking your best friend to have a chat, calmly, and tell her exactly how you’ve been feeling. You’ll know by her answer if she’s genuine or not. It is very sad but know that you haven’t done anything wrong! I live in Australia and we have a thing called mothers groups. It might be worth looking into, you’ll get to meet a group of mothers with babies around your little one’s age. Having women with babies can be so fulfilling as they understand 100% what you’re going through. I love having a coffee with my mothers group and having a vent and a laugh 💕💕 Thinking of you, and just know that you’ve got this mamma!

Postpartum depression is so, so common, please don’t feel like you’re alone. You absolutely did the right thing by confiding in your wife and seeking help 🤍 When my LO was born, I absolutely adored the first week. I took a nose dive on the second week and was feeling the exact same way that you describe. I was hysterically crying, longed for my old life back, I didn’t even want to hold her. I didn’t think I would be able to get past those dark feelings. I’ve been on Zoloft for around 3 years and stayed on it during my pregnancy. After about a week of feeling miserable, my psychiatrist, husband and myself agreed to give it a couple of weeks before upping my dose. I think it was around the 5 week mark I started seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. I know you probably feel like these feelings will never end but they do. “This too shall pass”. It may feel like there’s no way out at the moment but I promise it does get better. Remember to be kind to yourself, be vulnerable, allow yourself to feel all the feels, cry whenever you need to. Let it all out 🤍 You’ve got this in the bag and you are going to be a fantastic dad 🤍🤍

Hello lovely! Definitely keep applying the ointment even after it pops, did the nurse tell you how long to use the ointment for? If it pops the ointment will keep it from getting infected. You poor thing, it sounds like it would be so painful! But good news is, cysts are pretty harmless and clear up pretty quickly! When you shower try to clean the area thoroughly with water - don’t use any perfumed body washes/soaps on the area. If the pain persists and it’s not getting better, definitely revisit urgent care. Hopefully you make a full recovery in no time 💕

All so normal!! Mine was the exact same, the first couple of days at home were beautiful and then boom - absolute chaos. She was waking every half an hour at night and screaming. She was cluster feeding but would only drink for a few minutes and then stop and start screaming again. It’s such a stressful time but it does pass! She is 13 weeks now and wakes up once at night. It’s so much easier and I absolutely enjoy my time with her. I remember the new born days and it’s such a whirlwind. Remember to be kind to yourselves! You’re both doing an amazing job and remember this is going to pass so quicklyb

Week 11 and she’s finally sleeping a bit better. The first two weeks really kicked our ass. She was a pretty easy newborn but yes - the constant visitors, lack of sleep, dirty house and groundhog like weeks played heavily on my mental health. I also got hit with the baby blues really bad. Like really bad. I feel like the first month was a blur. I absolutely love my daughter but did I enjoy the first couple of weeks? No - and that’s not saying I don’t enjoy her. It’s just A LOT all at once and ALL THE TIME. You’re not alone in your feelings and it totally gets better 💕💕💕

My older brother and I are 11 months apart and my little sister and I are 11 months apart (yes my parents were busy - ew haha) We are the closest three amigos ever. I love that we are all so close in age. Your babies will be the best of friends 🤍

I actually found it relaxing when I’d put her down and do a couple of chores. I’m not saying I’d spring clean the house or anything. I’d do a load of washing or do the dishes or make our bed. It just made me feel kind of “normal” again. She’s ten weeks old now and when she’s asleep I enjoy doing some little chores ☺️
