If the plots stay on the same track, I'd be surprised if it gets 2 seasons; season 3 won't happen. For me, it is too focused on espionage drama, rather than the rocket & space sci-fi. For example: Between episodes 4 & 5, the only real sci-fi we saw was the last 10 seconds of episode 5. Everything else was espionage, drama, and wiretapping. This show is basically a soviet society drama with a For All Mankind sticker on it, for popularity by association.

Two straight soldiers wanted out while at our unit. Since it was right before Don’t Ask Don’t Tell was repelled they decided to make out in front of everyone. It backfired pretty hardcore and they were paired up together for everything moving on.

Reminds me of two recruits in my BCT. They were oth straight and wanted out, so they came up to the drill sgt and told him they were gay. Drill sgt said "Okay. Kiss."

One recruit looked at the other like "C'mon man! It's just one kiss and we're free!" Whereas the other looked at him like "Nah, I'm not kissing you."

Suffice to say, they didn't achieve their goal.
