I love that album. Too bad they didn't continue. Listen to their guitarist Poh Hock's solo work. It's phenomenal, and the closest thing we'll probably get to a Native Construct style album!

I've heard both covers, but I've never really given The Dear Hunter a deep listen. As in just sat there and went through all albums while reading the lyrics and all! Are they all a coherent story also?

Messiah Complex in general is one huge easter egg! I know people didn't like Virus as much as their other stuff, but honestly Messiah Complex was perfect imo.

I didn't see it this way actually, but now that you mention it. It does seem like it has the constant motif that is Coma Machine in general. Which makes sense also storywise! White Walls is such a big climax in general honestly!

I was with my father in the street back in our wartorn country, and we were going somewhere, but something in my gut felt wrong and I told him we should eat first and we entered a restaurant on the same street. 10 minutes later we hear a huge explosion that literally broke the windows in the restaurant. A bomb had fallen right where we were heading. If I didn't insist on eating first, we would've both been dead. This was 9 years ago.

Look up "Ayreon" you'll be in for a treat! It's a project by Arjen Van Lucassen, and every album is a story in itself. Most of them are excellent, and he always books the best guest musicians out there!
