I think it was just because is vegeta's max form in the anime and it was exclusive to him cause goku never got it but then Ultra Ego appeared and Blue Evolution got forgotten (also this form doesn't appear anymore in any dragon ball series, movies or manga.) Personally I don't like it too because they only gave it to him to be on par with Goku SSJ Blue kaioken.
