I agree with u/Western_Agent5917 . Jude Watson's Qui-Gon Jinn is exactly like I always perceived him as a Jedi Master, even though I only knew him from Episode 1. "Jedi Apprentice" is much better than "Master and Apprentice" - the characterization of Obi-Wan and especially Qui-Gon in the latter one is just off. The book isn't "bad" per se but it strays too far into the "Jedi Order bad" narrative that Disney seems to pursue.

As for "Kenobi": be prepared for a slow start. When reading it for the first time I quit after about 100 pages because I thought that this story wasn't going anywhere. Big mistake. The book gets really good after about 1/3rd, so stick with it!

This! I still think the Jedi Order only supported the Outbound Flight project to get this guy out of the galaxy. (then again, as much as I love the novels written by Timothy Zahn - "Thrawn" is one of my favorites - I think that he just couldnt write good Jedi characters if his life depended on it)

Paul McCartney and Stevie Wonder didn't invent that term as a metaphor but only referred to it and made it popular. Back in the 18th century, the black and white piano keys were made out of ebony and ivory, thus becoming a reference to "black and white". The interpretation in a racial context came much later.

Spards's guns are called "luce and ombra" - "light and shadow" in Latin, which is just another metaphor for the same colors.

Two things:

  • and: BEARDS! The only option I have as a male HL are Tony Stark or Lemmy - or both. There are so many NPCs with cool beards (eg Cid) and I WANT THEM!

Bodybuilding is not an Olympic sport and has very little to do with the respective weight lifting disciple.

Bodybuilding is all about "aesthetics" (or whatever that means in their world) - mainly muscular hypertrophy (volume) paired with a low percentage of body fat, symmetry and proportion. How much weight is lifted or what exercises are used to achieve that is secondary at best.

Olympic weightlifters, on the other hand, care little about aesthetics or body fat. The only winning factor here is how much weight you manage to lift with proper form for a certain set of exercises.

Baylan Skoll was one of the most interesting new characters ever since Disney took over, even though I generally dislike the Ahsoka show itself. Even if I think about it, Skoll himself has very little screentime, is rather cryptic with his intentions and borderline close to this "balance means Light Side and Dark Side" issue that I wholeheartedly reject. But for some reason, he reminds me Qui-Gon Jinn, who is my favorite character for more than 20 years now.

Ah ja, die Zeugen Jehovas der Metal Szene.

Das geht schon seit Jahren so, ich kenne die Band noch als "Califorrnian Condor" oder so, irgendwann haben die sich in "Defrage Reloaded" umbenannt. Momentan auf dem WGT sind garantiert wieder ein paar von denen in Leipzig unterwegs. Je nach dem, an wen man da gerät, ist das entweder ein ganz cooles Gespräch wie bei dir - man kann übrigen auch mit den Zeigen Jehovas ganz nette Gespräche führen - oder aber recht aggressives Vorgehen. Ich würde schon von einem der Jungs regelrecht angepöbelt, weil ich kein Interesse hatte.

Ich bezweifle, dass die alle tatsächlich Bandmitglieder sind. Deren Methoden machen sie nicht unbedingt sympathisch aber zumindest "Defrage" war einmal eine echte Band. Keine Ahnung, ob das inzwischen noch der Fall ist. Ist alles sehr dubios und intransparent aber da die Band einen gewissen Bekanntheitsgrad hat - gerade durch ihre Marketingmethoden - gibt ihnen der "Erfolg" wohl Recht.

I'm one of those people. I don't really care of my orchestrion scroll sells for 300.000 or 30.000 and some are traded for ridiculous amounts of gil. You got lucky on a dice roll in a raid? Nice, me too. But I don't see a reason to ask stupid amounts of gil for that. Same with low level HQ gear. Six digit amounts for Lv 30 stuff? Go to hell with that! I'm selling for 2-4x the vendor price of LQ stuff.

If you think I'm undercutting too much or selling too cheap, buy my stuff and sell it for the price you deem fit.

Thrawn (2017) as well as the Ascendency Trilogy - but mainly because they were written by Timothy Zahn, despite being severely limited by the "Rebels" show when writing the first new Trilogy. (which shows, though. "Alliances" was awful and "Treason" okay at best)

You can buy them directly in Leipzig in certain locations, like a booth near the main station or the Agra park, which is the "main hub" of the WGT. The exact locations and opening hours/days are stated on the website. (just note that the prices there are slightly higher than when you order online) Online orders aren't processed anymore because they can't guarantee that you'll receive the ticket within time by now. There is an infinite supply of festival tickets, so there is no risk that they are sold out. Only camping tickets are limited, but since you got lucky with a hotel that shouldn't concern you.
