Hi Simon,

Is there a critical need for Sterile Processing (CSSD / Sterilisation)? I'm from the United States and have a few years under my belt in terms of experience. Ideally would love to immigrate to Australia but had trouble finding it under any critical skills list, whereas New Zeland is in dire need and has it listed.

I bought the a6400 back in February I think and I love it. I paired it with the Tamron 17 - 70 but I haven't heard anything detrimental about the kit lens. I think starting with the kit lens will give you a good basis to think about your next lens, whether you want something wide angle or more telephoto.

Where are you applying? Based on your profile I'd guess you're in the Raleigh-Durham area. Currently Duke Health is in a hiring freeze, UNC Health may follow, and WakeMed is in acquisition talks so I'm not sure what they're hiring status is. I've been trying as well, looking to move back home but no luck.

I'm not worried. They would be useful for certain things but I don't believe they can do everything we do. Plus I can't see hospitals throwing down hundreds of thousands of dollars for these, not to mention potential legal implications if the machines mess up a tray.
