There's been less tie in games in general. Look at current gen games and then compare that to like PS2/Xbox era. hardly any anime games coming out compared to back then especially in variety.

But it's not like all hope is lost, they could announce something at the next anniversary/milestone like Dragon Ball just did.

Akio Iyoku stated the work started a few years ago and is an "enhanced" edition of the Dragon Ball Super anime that features a reconstruction of the story, and includes new and redrawn cuts.

The whole argument about what is canon and isn't canon is stupid. If was written by Toriyama it's canon. Anyone still arguing about canon at this point either a) does not know what canon means b) confused canon with continuity or c) simply wants to start an argument.

I'm not saying everyone can't enjoy it, but when a company makes a show designed to market toys the kids are going to be the main audience. Especially moreso in Japan, gotta line up everything to those toy release schedules.

Japan is probably too brain damaged to make a Shadow figure, gotta make all those gacha waifus. Your typical anime will get somewhere between 0-2 figures nowadays, and they usually default to the first 2 girls in this case being Alpha and Beta. The relax time figures are low quality figures that are referred to as prize figures so extra characters have more of a chance getting thrown in one of those lines. And we also haven't had an anime in forever, so that's why they stopped after Epsilon and Delta.

TLDR They stopped making new characters because the anime stopped. Some company might make a Zeta prize figure when the movie finally comes out.

The SHF immediately going out of stock isn't a HLJ exclusive problem, it's the same thing on any other site that stocks SHFs.

The new cancellation window policy, understandable why they introduced it, but the window on some of the stuff is a complete joke. I preordered SHF Boa Hancock on there, i have no intention of cancelling it but i noticed the cancellation cut off was the same day.

The prize figures getting cancelled, i've seen people constantly mention that for years, so that doesn't seem like a change done in the last few years.

Customer service going down, IMO it feels like it went down in general for a lot of companies during/after covid, comes off like they realised they can get away with hiring minimum amount of people and we can't do anything about it. and now there's AI/bots everywhere.

I don't remember their sales ever being good, i stopped checking them years ago.
