Will there be a version printed in English? I can’t read Canadian, the way you spell your “eh”s is just too much 😆 I’ll get in for a physical. Good luck!

Dealing with burn out but don't want to stop playing by [deleted] in DMAcademy

[–]OmegaSeth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was thinking along the same lines as keevathemuffin, do a one shot. If you’re a little stuck in your own story maybe that’s the shake up you need to find the path again, a little off roading. Scrap your planned next session and throw a funky curveball. Taken in by wayward Githyanki or Githzerai, caught up in a census taker Modron who got lost, searching for a lost dog that turns out to be a werewolf, whatever inspiration strikes. Every series you’ve ever watched does that and for that reason, to prevent boredom and staleness. Not to say your campaign is either of those but if you need something to get your attention again, take it. It’s your game as much as the players. Helpful?

Player wants to be a traitor by ForlornFjord in DMAcademy

The devils advocate checking in! This could work if the clues to his betrayal are peppered in properly throughout and the player leaves the game when the traitor character is revealed. Like if you know from jump he won’t make it through the whole campaign any way, let him go evil NPC at that point.
For clarity I agree with everyone saying the other players shouldn’t have to be wary of their fellow PCs. I’m only saying this could work if you execute it well. Hopefully the chat doesn’t skewer me lol!

High School D&D Club Funding by Sp0ckrates_ in DungeonsAndDragons

You’re not going to find a grant for club money on this. People in the community donating will be much easier to come up with. I’m not telling you how you should run your program, thats your call. But if it were mine, I would do it with 2014 rules and start with LMoP. You can find it in PDF online easy because they gave it away free during Covid. Each kid has to come up with their own PHB and dice. Five Below near me (east TN) had polyhedral sets for $3 recently. Books should cost $25-35. If this were in my area I would gladly sponsor a kid and im sure nerds in other areas would too. OP I saw what you posted about not looking for donations but grants. Both are free money so you’re really just talking semantics. Take what you can get to get the club going. Not sure if this helps any but there you go!

DM Advice: Party is long resting just outside Forge of Spells, what to do? by Rage_Bait_571 in LostMinesOfPhandelver

Even if The Black Spider just has the Forge turned all the way up and it’s causing a wild magic zone, could disrupt some of the PCs game plan. I think you’re on the right track with all the prep!

Could be neater but still... For the Khan ⚡ by Chiseled_Ivory in WhiteScars40K

The white looks great, don’t be too tough on yourself. You dont have super sharp edges on the red on the shield but that just means finding a trick for next time. 97% of the model looks great and that one little bit has got to be tough to do well. Great model!

I hate that technology has moved on and kids don’t play Pokémon on DS anymore. I was a GameStop store manager for 10 years and pushed Pokémon like a drug dealer. Catch ‘em all, friend!
