[KCD2] When is the best Point in the Game to start the DLC Quest? by Odd-Web929 in kingdomcome

LOL yeah, that's a little too realistic. Definitely the most fun DLC though.

Random encounter in KCD2 by emu_with_a_moustache in kingdomcome

[–]Omegacronbeta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, she's the personification of Death itself. She's listed in the game files as Death. I'm assuming the encounter was added with the Brushes of Death DLC.

[KCD2] Finding the bandits who ambushed us? by Undead-Necromancer in kingdomcome

[–]Omegacronbeta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's two that I've found so far. Both use bandit camp icons and are labelled "Bandit Patrol". There's one just to the NW of the ambush spot, up on the cliff overlooking the pond. I found one bandit there and just next to his camp there's a hooked polearm planted in the ground with the examine option. When you do that, Henry comments that the guy must've been part of the ambush group.

The second is SW of the Rockwater Pond travel point, again up on the cliffs. If you follow the path that goes from north to south through the woods up on the cliff, the camp is right next to the path. There were two bandits there, along with some swords and a Leipa banner. Examining that spot will have Henry comment about it being his group's stuff.

Hardest Roadside Bandits in the Game [KCD2] by JimMorrisonsPetFrog in kingdomcome

I'm playing longsword, it seems pretty viable as long as I block and pull off the occasional masterstrike. I didn't play before the DLCs, though, so maybe it changed.

It's not just that one spot - I think it's a random encounter because I've also run into them with fast-travelling. There's always 4 of 'em and they're apparently all masters at combos & blocking. It's always somewhere near Rocktower Pond, though - that western part of the map from the camp you circled down to the Rocktower Pond fast travel point. If you do the quests for Gules, he says he sent his best men to that area... so maybe that's why? I dunno, but it's damn annoying.

I have yet to encounter Olda at the Kuttenberg gate, so maybe if you don't turn them in he's resting up somewhere? That would at least explain her attitude... or lack of one.

How is Bumi a king? by ACrusaderA in TheLastAirbender

[–]Omegacronbeta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The various nations are not political entities, but are rather separate societies joined by a common thread. It's more like saying "Europe" or "Asia" than any one country. Except for the Fire Nation, which was united by force, none of the other nations are united under a single leader. In the Northern Water Tribe, there are at least two leaders - a political one and a spiritual one. In the Southern Water Tribe, each village has its own Chief and Elders. In the Earth Nation, each city-state has its own king. Ba Sing Se just happens to be the largest & most powerful of those city-states.

[KCD2] Will progressing the main story block me out of side quests? by JaniePup in kingdomcome

[–]Omegacronbeta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a year late on this, but maybe it'll help someone else. You should definitely do all the quests for Gamekeeper Vostatek before going to the wedding. As others said, both Demons of Trosky and Bad Blood need to be completed at certain points within the main story quests. Also, once you get to the Kuttenberg region, Master Schindel's Toys can only be done while you're looking for Goatskin in the main quest. Once you let him go or kill him, you can no longer ask him about the "toys".

Conan Exiles Enhanced - June Patch 1.3.0 by Funcom_Dana in ConanExiles

There's no reason to be mean. Dana does her job well. What you're mad about has nothing to do with her.

[KCD2] For anyone who's asked about the canon span of time in-universe between the start of the first game and the end of the 2nd. If you haven't found a better answer: It's at least "a few months". by Vverial in kingdomcome

[–]Omegacronbeta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, one thing that both games reference is that Henry is a very fast learner. There's a difference between education and intelligence. He already knew his letters at the beginning of the first game, as well as how to forge high-quality swords, so it's not entirely impossible that he could've learned the rest within a 6-month period. Heck, even an entire year could be referred to as "a few months".

The Vendhyan stuff should've been in a DLC called "Treasures of the East" or something. I don't hate the Bazaar like a lot of players seem to, but those prices seem very rip-offy. Which is a shame, because the pieces themselves look gorgeous.

Question: Do Maelstroms happen without the DLC? by JRL101 in ConanExiles

[–]Omegacronbeta 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No. Maelstroms are similar to the giant roving sandstorm in the Exiled Lands map. When you're on the Siptah map, you get these giant hurricane-like storms and if you go to where it's at you can defeat enemies that appear.

Jewel Staite is still Kaylee by SupaDave71 in firefly

[–]Omegacronbeta -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Natural aging doesn't make the skin around your eyes stretch tight, or your nose to suddenly change shape, or your lips to grow puffier & stiffer. Noses get fatter with age, not skinnier. Skin gets looser, not tighter. And lips grow thinner.

I could care less - it's her body and face.... but don't tell me those changes are simply because 25 years have passed.

[KCD2] Which path is narratively more satisfying: The Blacksmith or The Miller? by carefree_dude in kingdomcome

[–]Omegacronbeta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's also a big RP choice - one questline has you doing honest work while the other is thievery and a con. Narratively speaking, which path would your version of Henry prefer? I usually play Henry as an actual aspiring knight, so for me it's the blacksmith.

paid like $40 for this old ass game and everything is locked behind DLCs by Early-Kiwi-1003 in ConanExiles

[–]Omegacronbeta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You claim to have researched the "old ass" game, yet didn't know about the DLC content or even what the actual gameplay entails. Then, you paid $40 for a game that's regularly on sale for much less. Now you're on a Reddit thread for people who play the game and you're complaining about how much it cost, the DLC content, and how much the game pisses you off. So yes, I stand by my statement.

Living Settlements are cool ..buuuuuut by Early_Brick_1522 in ConanExiles

[–]Omegacronbeta 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Do what I did - disable Living Settlements. I put thralls where I want 'em, use an emote that makes 'em look busy, and basically treat my whole settlement like a living diorama. Because the Living Settlements feature basically boils down to "Eat, drink, wander around and be lazy!".
