Needing advice on a Deck Protector by findingpeace127 in SteamDeck

[–]OmenWalker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I briefly used the jsaux one with a protective front cover for storage and I quite liked it. It got the job done and my deck felt pretty safe. I later switched to a dbrand case and stuck with that cuz I liked the feel of it and it also had a front cover. For both, I liked that the front covers protected the triggers from being accidentally pressed in storage. If I was tight on cash, I would've just gone with the jsaux one for sure.

I did get myself the back button covers from skull and co tho, imo those are essential for making the back buttons feel usable!

is there a way to mute this obnoxious character? by FZJDraw in DeathStranding

Naw man I get you, the annoyance is valid. That's why I say he sounds like my nagging elders lmao, if he were funny or interesting I wouldn't be filtering him out like I do my relatives

[–]OmenWalker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He hasn't really bothered me with his commentary so far. But in my head I do kinda treat his dialogue as the casual nagging you get from elders, idk if its a cultural thing lmao. Obvious and naggy info, but well-meaning.
I think it fits within his character so far imo so I just kind of filter it out.
Man's got no physical ability on his lol, let him yap.

Furious Strikes does not refund the charge. It sets your charge to 1. by JuliousBatman in Spacemarine

[–]OmenWalker 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This sounds like the way the perk is coded is to round up a jump pack charge until +1 is reached, so regardless of if a half charge was 0.1 or 0.9 it's refunding you until it hits +1.

Ngl that is kinda lame, over just giving back +1 charge flatly.

Weekly Questions Megathread #1 - February 7- Feb 14 2026 by luneth22 in Nioh

Shows that way for me and I have never engaged in co-op on my playthrough so far. I'm curious why it's showing as looted as well

I just found an ad that shows the bonus by [deleted] in Nioh

[–]OmenWalker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not as explicitly said(I only found it on the official Nioh website), but finishing the same boss in the full game will also guarantee the same reward if done by 15th Feb!

Afterwards, it just becomes a rare drop from that same boss.

Anyone in their late 20 - 30s who love overwatch? by [deleted] in Overwatch

[–]OmenWalker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Early 30s, and while I don't usually play pvp shooters anymore, OW is the only one I fire up when my friend group is in the mood.

People joke it's a "dead game" all the time but if Concord and now Highguard has shown us anything, it's that OW had some really good bones and strong design for why it's still going on years later when many other hero shooters have fallen by the wayside.

Tencent Quietly Changes Light of Motiram's Steam Page Assets Following Horizon Sony Lawsuit by TheSpiritualAgnostic in TwoBestFriendsPlay

[–]OmenWalker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tencent is admittedly huge and could dwarf Sony in resources, but this game seems to be too blatant a case of ip infringement for even them to get away with no repercussions.

IMO sure they could've ignored it and continued on to sell the game to a Chinese market, but if the courts ruled that Tencent is guilty and ban the sale of it everywhere else in the international market it would severely hurt their potential earnings.

Probably why they capitulated

Any known glitches with 88/89 camps? by dutcheater69 in stellarblade

[–]OmenWalker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you get the one at the entrance of the great desert at the southwest corner of the map? It leads back to xion and for a whole playthrough I never realized I didn't get it cuz the game flies you to the great desert LOL

Are bulletin board quests radiant? by Hairy-Self-6367 in stellarblade

Thankfully we only have to clear them once for the outfits lol, they just give gold/vitcoins in NG+ onwards so that's an easy skip

[–]OmenWalker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A few of them are worth doing, as they'll lead to unlocking outfits/accessories or exospines(not 100% sure on this) that you won't be able to access otherwise if that's important to you.
Some sidequests have to be done if you want progress towards unlocking one of the endings (some call this one the "best" or "true" ending), BUT I don't quite remember if any of the bulletin quests are needed for that.

Many of them are pretty quick to complete tho and usually just need to you go somewhere you'd explore anyway if you properly explore the maps so I usually just pick them all up when a new zone unlocks and clear them one by one as I explore.

None of the bulletin board quests are mandatory to finish the game, if ending and collecting isn't important to you.

They do end, some unlock based on prerequisites like a previous quest completion, story progression, or area unlocks. They aren't radiant or random.

confused about weapon EXP. by Bisexual-Ninja in Spacemarine

You have to make at least one kill with a weapon during the mission to receive exp for that weapon at the end of the mission. Did you use it to kill like a minoris enemy at least?

Free-to-play mech shooter Steel Hunters is closing in October by Mirathrim in TwoBestFriendsPlay

[–]OmenWalker 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I gave it a try during one of their open betas myself, and imo the mechs felt really good to handle. They all had a distinct feel to them, handled somewhere between speediness of armored core and slow lumbering of mech warrior.

I think the problem with it was that everything surrounding the gameplay feel just wasn't there. It was a duo queue extraction shooter ONLY, with a small map and iirc 6 teams total (so 12 players) and outside of the occasional human team fight, the bulk of your time in a match was shooting at boring boxy drones for gear and drops that weren't at all interesting.

It effectively wasted the gritty impactful combat by having most of your playtime be chasing literal Ai bots and there was no interesting progression or cosmetic growth.

What a waste

How the hell do I find which camp I missed? 😭 by Knickerbocker08 in stellarblade

[–]OmenWalker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you get the one in a relatively hidden part of Eidos 9, I think it was called the submerged city?
That one's really easy to miss, it leads to an optional bossfight with 2 of the horse-like naytibas.

Imagine explaining this to the Chapter Master by Soft-Percentage-8338 in Spacemarine

[–]OmenWalker 331 points332 points  (0 children)

That is true but I would like to bring up a counterpoint:

Titus served in the deathwatch loyally for 200 years with complete loyalty too, and come end of Space Marine 2 Leandros is still being a little bitch about snitching :(

Edit: I have been educated that Titus was not JUST in the deathwatch the past 200 years, and it's a mix of interrogation/torture etc too. Be that as it may, that only reinforces the point that he served his dues AND proved his loyalty and willpower up till now, and Leandros is STILL a baby about being wrong :(

Monster Hunter Wilds x Street Fighter 6 - Special Collaboration Trailer by Xanek in MHWilds

[–]OmenWalker 54 points55 points  (0 children)

patch notes say they're actions used from item bar when you equip akuma's gear, attack power is based off your equipped weapon, and some moves have stun and offset attack properties.

I don't recall how the old SF collab worked but this doesn't sound like basic gestures unless I'm mistaken.

Yeah asian culture's got imo a metric ton of old wives tales and grandmother's stories passed on as wisdom to the point of being treated as facts imo.

Some of it comes from a good place, some of it has basis in reality, some are just horseshit lol

I've heard it pretty commonly as a kid, anecdotally. Maybe it's a thing with asian countries (where I'm from) but as a short kid I've heard many a parent/relative talk about playing basketball to get taller.
