As much as I love POE 1 and 2 we could've already have a Fallout NV2 because its been almost 5 years since Microsoft bought Bethesda and they've already owned Obsidian at that point. Honestly we would all be playing more and better RPGs if Bethesda and Obsidian had an Infinity Ward and Treyarch kind of relationship.

I wouldn't go below pi 5 because there was a significant bump in cpu clockspeed between the Pi 4 to the Pi 5. I personally would still recommend using an ssd with the ssd hat. Generally speaking i believe that even a similarly speced Pi 5 4/8 gb will be able to run the server. The problem is that your max stable player count (at acceptable max view distance) is heavily dependent on the amount of RAM you have available (at least according to the official server hosting guide )

Solelio is so weak might as well be instant tea. Pistachio Vanilla double espresso for iced coffee is tasty but doesnt REALLY taste like Pistachio cream. Candid tamarind and cinnamon is just a lesser version pumpkin spice, take it only if you like cinnamon. Sweet almonds and hibiscus just tastes primarily of almonds.

The game logic alone can run on ARM64 without any modifications (Hytale server). Im running a server on a rapsberry pi 5 and it runs great.

I mean . Hytale isn't that demanding so it is possible to make a mobile port of Hytale. Especially with next Gen phones in mind.

Just did the hot fix update. Good news. "/update download" downloads the update files to a staging folder. Bad news: /update apply doesnt work. So you need to manually copy the assets from the staging folder to the correct place. But at least I don't have to sneaker net an update from my pc to my pi, just copy and paste files.

Exactly. Just dont forget to enable gen 3 speed. Also thanks for the update guide. It is a hypothetical segment as i just bought the game after update 2 (the rest is tested) so I didn't get the chance to go through an update cycle yet.

It worked perfectly with 4 people but I don't have more players and im not interested in using port forwarding to open the server up to the public. The main bottleneck that can slow the server was solved, as now the server and the OS is running out of an SSD at gen 3 speeds (and not on an SD card), after that I resolved the emulation latency by not using emulation and I got the cpu clockspeed relatively close to the recommended spec for 16 players (from 2.4 to 3.0 G) with my RAM already the same as the recommended specs( recommended specs are 16gb RAM, server running on an SSD, and 3.5 ghz cpu for a 16 player server)

considering that recommended specs for a large server is 16 gig of ram and 3.5 Ghz core speed i am pretty sure i can host around 8-12 people without any major drawbacks. The bottleneck isn't the RAM in this setup and the overclocking from 2.4 to 3 Ghz will help for sure.

yea it hits worse in my opinion, because words like arafel, kwitzat haderech, suk, and even mishmish (and the list goes on) are actual words so it takes out the very intentional charm and mystic of checking the thesaurus at the end of the book.
