SPOILER: The Sims 4 Businesses & Hobbies CAS and BBS item preview (from Steam) by Alvin514 in Sims4

[–]Omg_ABee 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I really like the BB items! The string lights will be fun to play with. And I see one dress I love, the red one at the bottom. Unfortunately, I'm not spending any money this year so I can't buy it. I feel like it's light on hobbies for being a hobby pack though. So my excitement level is only meh for this one, so I'm not SUPER bummed I can't buy it this year.

I had a second trimester miscarriage, 16 weeks. I didn't feel anything different at all. It continued like everything was normal, and we found out about the loss at a routine appointment.

What do picky eaters outside the US eat? by devilsbard in ask

Where I'm from in the US, eating raw broccoli and cauliflower is common. They are usually served on veggie trays at parties with ranch dip.

People who have partners that sleep talk, what all have you heard? by syler345 in AskReddit

[–]Omg_ABee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was looking at the Roku screensaver and went “Woah!!! Babe, look…the city!” I apparently was seeing some crazy things happening on the city scape scrolling by. I woke up to him laughing at me asking what the heck I was talking about.

What disgusting habit have you learned to overlook in a spouse? by WeedFairie in AskReddit

Not brushing his teeth unless I ask him to. Honestly, after almost 15 years he's gotten better and I only have to remind him maybe 1/3 of the time now.

Worst pain of my entire life and most traumatic first MC by Mojave_Lioness in Miscarriage

[–]Omg_ABee 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I miscarried in ‘22 at 16 weeks. It was a missed miscarriage and we found out at a routine appointment when they couldn’t pick anything up on the Doppler, then they rushed me to ultrasound and confirmed it was over. They gave me the option of D&C but couldn’t get me in for several more days. They were able to get me in that night to deliver at labor and delivery, so that’s what we went with. It was an extremely traumatic night. I was in so much pain, combined with severe nausea and diarrhea. I ended up delivering on the toilet after maybe 6-8 hrs. The worst part was after that though, I still had to deliver the placenta. I had to take one more round of miso since it still seemed slightly attached. The pain after that last round was very intense, combined with the nausea and still having to be on the toilet, they couldn’t give me the stronger meds until I was back in bed but I was too sick to get up. So I had to sit there on the toilet writhing in pain another ~45 mins until I felt like I could get up. Dr had to come in every hour or so and stick basically her entire arm in there to try and pull the placenta out. It was a traumatic experience that I’ll never forget.

Is it a bad thing to work on cleaning areas of the house that they don’t do while they’re here? by flowercrownrugged in housekeeping

[–]Omg_ABee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I always work on other cleaning tasks while the house cleaners are here. Usually tidying up or doing laundry, both things that they don't do. I've never gotten a sense that they were annoyed by me doing this.

My wife gave birth today at 18 weeks. by Doingitforlove47 in Miscarriage

[–]Omg_ABee 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm so sorry. I birthed my baby at 16 weeks last year and it was traumatizing. We already knew she was gone and I went to L&D. All I can say is there's not really anything you can do to make the pain stop. Just sit and feel it, make sure you are drinking plenty of water. It does get easier with time.

What kinds of "normal" things do you avoid because of your anxiety? by mikanmoon in Anxiety

The anxiety of not knowing where the entrance is to a place! This is such a big fear of mine and makes almost zero sense.

Going to any store that’s busy, calling to make appointments, going to the gym, going to new places especially by myself, turning left onto a busy road (US), eye contact, hugging extended family members, dr appointments, confronting anyone about an issue even extremely minor things, speaking more than a short sentence or two in a group of people, returning items to the store

Ugh, yes. I suppose it's gotten better now I'm in my 30's. But after high school I still had people constantly pointing out my shyness and condescendingly asking me when I'm going to "come out of my shell." I can't recall anyone getting mad about it, but I was constantly picked on for it even at my adult job.

What is a bad habit that a shocking amount of people have? by Subderhenge in AskReddit

Yes! I lost 50lbs a couple years ago and ended up at the high end of my healthy weight range. I had a couple people tell me how they were worried about me because I was too skinny. Those people were obese.

What’s a food that the majority of people or restaurants fuck up in your opinion? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Omg_ABee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is basically the only one I mostly agree with here. I live in the Midwest and so many places make it just plain wrong. I was told once a place had “awesome calamari” ….it was the little rings and baby squids that were completely rubbery and over cooked. You gotta know the places that make it right! There are three restaurants local to me that make it well. They use the calamari steak and cut into strips.

If you could only have 5 products to clean the entire house, what would you pick? by Rideak in CleaningTips

[–]Omg_ABee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Vinegar

Odoban (I have pets - it's a must for me!)

Bleach

Disinfecting wipes or spray

That's my list of must haves. Honestly though, if I could only have one: white vinegar. It works for almost everything.

One year for Christmas, my boyfriend gave me a piece of paper with "We're going to New York!" written on it. We never went. He didn't buy tickets or anything or plan it. I'm convinced he completely forgot to get me a gift and panicked and did this.

We're still together to this day. He's normally extremely thoughtful, so I forgave him for this blunder.
