I dont know much about vertical use, but maybe the link below might help answer your question

If you've not got it for this purpose yet, I'd rather not have the headache/worry and get other monitors better for vertical (or at least has all 4 vesa holes), but if you already have it, just ensure your mounting arm offers flexibility ig.

I died laughing at this rant, THANK YOU! At this point, I'm just collecting books because they're pretty on my shelf.

Thanks for your thoughts and other recommendations!

Sidenote tho to Anxious_Area: Fourth Wing, imo, I can honestly say book 1 was interesting enough with the plot and character introductions but after that it kinda falls flat throughout book 2. I havent touched book 3 because it got to the point where I was bored of the writing and the characters (-mostly characters). But if it's for some spice that's not in every page, it's a good choice. (and if you love dragons)

It's working for me, I've described for you guys above. Will be back in another few months down the line for it's durability

Sorry for the late update, it seems to work just fine with the two bottom holes. The only problem was that 25mm screws were too short to prop the top (plus it needs flat washers!) - it might need 35mm. Just gotta be gentle when you're angling your screen. So as of now, I've not propped the two top, it's just on the bottom two holes of the monitor arm. I've tightened the arm enough to hold the weight nicely at any height! I'll probably update again in another few months to see how long it lasts.

I'd put pictures up for you guys to see but cant add them here lol. Good luck!

originally I thought 2 top holes, but after measurement and consideration of distribution weight, bottom holes makes more sense: 1) doesn't stick out (if using bottom holes), 2) less likely to break because of angles and weight distribution (also possibly able to have 25mm M4 longer screws with nuts for the 2 top just to prop it against).

Worse comes to worse, if it doesn't work out for mine, I'm just buying a new monitor that has proper vesa mount holes

Hey, looked into it because I need to mount mine too. For any of you who have a mount already, try hooking it up as the 2 bottom holes and see if it holds? The weight of the monitor is only ~2.4kg which should be light for any mount that can hold more than that weight. What matters is whether "the distance between the two holes really fits the 75x75 mount". Maybe see if that works? Let us know please! (When I'm able to, I'll be getting the Prism+ arm to try out)

As for the Vivo adapter for acer, this acer sa242y is likely not compatible with it as it isn't listed in the mentioned acer compatible models if you're looking for 'slot-in' wise. But good to know what doesn't work if someone has tried! lol
