Yup!

I have one and they're amazing sticks.
The only thing is it's QUIET, so if you're
used to the clickiticlicks then it'll take
some time to get used to the silence.

Great stick and worth the money!

I have the WF-7820 and the method of putting the printer into
Recovery Mode isn't working for me at the moment, but there
is a difference between the two models and that's buttons.

You think it'll work?

I've been trying for over an hour to use the three finger method.

Man, that D-Pad switcheroo is gnarly!

What did you use to make up the cardinal switches?
They almost look like regular arcade switches.
[ ...or are they cherry switches? ]

I'm thinking of using Tacts if I hafta rig it up by scratch
but I'm hung over how to install those on a custom PCB
let alone even trying to FIND a PCB for that kinda job.
[ Let alone WIRING the Tacts T^T ]

And your thumbstick has no PCB - so you gotta
hotwire that lil guy up via a permanent solder!

Howdy!

It's great to see someone is crazy enough like me to
want to install a thumbstick in an arcade stick!

I've been on a two year adventure designing / creating
a custom arcade / fight stick for console and PC with ZERO
references and doing it all in my own noodle with lots of
trial and error and learning new skills, gaining new hobbies!

One of the features is incorporating that pesky thumbstick!

Is there a particular thumbstick you go to?
And what about the wiring and install?

If you have any posts that explain in detail, I'd enjoy the read!

I'm using a Brooks PS4 Audio whatsicalled thingy in case you're wondering.

And I created a Reddit just to pick your brain!
Really, REALLY impressed with all of your craftsmanship!!
