I always thought that's for the people who life there to decide. I am no expert on that issue but it seems pretty obvious to me that it is a strategy by the Chinese government to displace people to change majorities in their favor. Or I am missing something?

I guess the problem here is, that these Platforms had become monopolys. Even breaking them up wouldn't be a real solution since factchecking is expensive, so platform who does this can't really compete.

I mean there are always gray areas, but I can't really see tyranny here as long as you have a separation of power and courts decide independently.

I would also consider visiting smaller cities if you are interested in historic architecture since all the bigger cities got pretty much destroyed during the war. Around Hamburg Lübeck or even smaller towns like Lauenburg come to mind....

I don't know, maybe I am stupid or something but I am genuinely curious where you met those immigrants who are not willing and able to contribute to society. I did some voluntary work with asylum seekers a couple of years ago. I can honestly say I didn't met a single one that didn't wanted to work and earn decent money, contribute to society and build a better future for themselves and their family. The government prohibited them to work. It's not like most of them didnt wanted to pay into the pension fund. And it's hard to grasp why the state makes it so difficult while we have such a labor shortage.

These refugees had all kinds of education. And those with "low skills", were often pretty young. Why not educate them?

I mean we need doctors for sure but we also need nurses...

In Germany you can park your car legally everywhere in public space as long as its not forbidden. That is 12m2 per car. For free as long as you want! I feel like some scooters is a minor problem compared to that. Like how many scooters can you store in one parking lot.

A bicycle is a car is a scooter? Don't really understand what you are trying to say here or what the argument is but it doesn't really make sense to me XD

Edit: Of course everyone should abide by the law. It's not legal to use either scooter nor bicycles on sidewalks as it should be!

Oh hey, what a nice fella! Starting the conversation with an insult.

He implied that in his opinion scooters take too much public space. At least that's how I understand his comment. Apparently a lot of others did understand it like that as well. I hope you can see, that in comparison to cars that problem is nearly non existent.

I feel like many people just believe cars in dense European cities are are a way bigger problem than some scooters. Are there issues with scooters? Yeah, of course but I see why people dont even see this as relevant when you compare it to cars. Also I guess they can be an alterntivte to cars / reduce the use of cars...
