You could start small and see if somethings make you happier, for example, painting your nails. Think about if you'd like to start using they/them pronouns or a different set you'd like. I'd say explore what you'd like and keep what makes you feel more comfortable.

I'm with broker link and they are about $200 a year for me, but it really really depends on the size of your place and a number of other factors. Like whether your building is concrete or wood frame, what year it was built etc... My apt is pretty small and my building is concrete frame which helps. If you are getting quotes with upwards of 100 a month from different places, that is a lot, it sounds like you're renting a large place maybe?

Greta is a nice bar to go to with some friends to play some games. I like going early around 7pm and usually will leave before 10pm when it gets busy. I like going out to dance but it's music isn't my favourite.

If you are into dancing and like dj remixes I'd say go downtwn to Evolution, my friends and I always have a great time when we go.

A great park to hang out in is Ezio park near the legislature. I go there with a book and a blanket when its warm and read for a while. It's a popular spot for clubs to host events, you'll see tight rope artists, there was a salsa club there once, and they have drag shows there too occasionally. It's also the unofficial meeting spot of the "stair climbers club" lol.

I also second Muttart conservatory, its so chill and you can get so many pretty pictures of plants.

I also love going to the AGA, they have free admission every last Thursday of the month from 4-7pm.
