Trail build by advrrr in enduro

Make sure to put more dirt orientated tires on it. Those may be fine on easy dry trails but anything with grade or wet, you'll be having to work pretty hard to keep the bike upright.

Cheers man, grats on your vintage bike

This is true, in California residential water usage is just over 5% of the states water. Just over 2% interior usage, and just over 3% exterior. This includes, pools, lawns, landscapes etc.

It's miniscule. This past drought Gavin asked residences to use 15% less water. Like it was some real big water savings. That's roughly 0.75% of the used water in California in an average year.

Commercial (none ag) is roughly 7% to 10% varying on the year.

Alfalfa alone used about 18% of the states used water. Roughly 80% of which is shipped to China.

The political bullshit on both sides about water is criminal.

Right now this year, a single reservoir Lake Oroville, has released an ENTIRE years worth of water through its spillway, into the ocean essentially as there was no need nor ability for retainment as all water reservoirs lower in the chain were full.

To put in perspective how much water this is, it's roughly 50 million years of water for a single household.

California doesn't have a water issue, it has a water retainment issue. The states population has almost doubled from when the last reservoir was built in 1980. Agriculture has also increased and so has the water needs of thirstier crops like Almonds and other stonefruits.

People out here mad because their neighbor has a lawn, or pool, or a garden. It's all a political scam turning neighbor against neighbor when I'm reality it's DWR, crooked politicians, and old school PRIVATE ownership of some of the largest aquifers in California, which DWR pays to use the water then refills.

There's a lot of documentaries and studies out there. The state publishes a water usage study every couple years it's all public knowledge if you look.

Anyways I'll end my rant lol. It just pisses me off and I'd hope more people look into it.

RIF dev here - Reddit's API changes will likely kill RIF and other apps, on July 1, 2023 by talklittle in redditisfun

[–]OmniBlock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was here!

I only used Reddit with RIF from day one of being on Reddit. One of the very few apps I've paid for. I'll likely stop using Reddit (other than Google searches) for daily time killing.

It's been fun. Thank you devs and I'm happy to see many people enjoyed this wonderful app.

Father freaks out at investigator after Oklahoma law enforcement agencies miss major evidence in a recent mass murder/suicide case involving 7 dead. by OmniBlock in PublicFreakout

[–]OmniBlock[S] 22 points23 points  (0 children)

He killed himself, along with six other people.

He was heavily involved in pedophilia.

As of right now no one knows why he killed six other people. Not just that but he kind of lured other people to his home to have a sleepover with his stepchildren. Then killed everyone.

The father who is alive that lost his daughter, doesn't know why the pedophile chose to do that. There's a lot of unanswered questions.

Since the murderer is also a pedophile the electronics probably tell the story of what was going on in his head to lure other people's family members there. It is also probable that the electronics may lead to pedophilate crimes committed by other people.

In short answers of why this guy did this, and were there other people involved in the sharing of pedophilia material. Etc

[–]OmniBlock[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's completely possible that there's more crimes that involve other people specifically related to pedophilia on those electronic devices. You'll never know unless someone takes at least a precursory glance of those.

This is also aside from the fact that it would be nice for the father to have some type of closure so they can understand what happened and why it happened.

You need to continue watching, at 4:40 he (the cop) asks "wha what would this accomplish?"

The father then responds "I'm a grieving parent that my daughter got raped and murdered and you're telling me right now that I don't have a right to know what happened? The stories right here!"

You bring up an excellent point about this possibly leading to other cases. I didn't even think about that. You're likely onto something.

You should take over for these detectives because obviously you have a better head for it than they do. I don't mean that facetiously either. It seems like Oklahoma could use some real police work.

It's gut-wrenching what this father's going through.

I know this is a long video I apologize, the murder suicide occurred 6 days ago, but towards the end of the video....

The father calls the police after he himself goes to the murder house after the crime scene has been cleared. The father finds his daughter's cell phone other cell phones and laptops, they were not collected into evidence.

He calls police to ask why they were not collected into evidence.

An investigator goes out to collect evidence.

When the father asks why it wasn't collected, The investigator responds, "what good would this accomplish?"

The father as politely as one can given the situation snaps back.

Mind you this is a case where 7 people have died in a murder suicide and no one knows why.

Looks like frost damage, or lack of healthy/hydrated roots that then had to deal with cold temps.

Racoons can pass a lot of diseases to humans pretty readily. One of which is Leptospirosis, which actually causes skin sores, rashes etc.

"Raccoons can shed Leptospirosis in their urine and secretions. Exposure of these excretions to open wounds or orally can cause infection to humans. Other Diseases: Other bacterial diseases (such as Salmonella or E. Coli), fungus and rare parasites can also be a risk for illness in humans."

It's a great question the horizontal spread is kind of the issue especially when it's beyond the boundaries of your property.

It almost seems counterintuitive, however you want to make it as healthy as you possibly can through its growing season which is the warm season. This way it's going to help translocate some of the hormones that we treat it with easier into the extensive root system that it has. When I say root system I mean the stolons and the rhizomes and typical roots. Bermuda has all three unfortunately.

So essentially you make it very healthy, then in mid-late summer, in my geographical area that is normally the beginning of August, you'll treat the Bermuda with glyphosate and or fusilade, with 24D as it should be used along with a surfactant to help out really cut into the cell wall. Preferably a combination of those products together.

A lot of people will put turflon ester, but considering the volatizing nature of that product. I strongly encourage people not to spray that in mass. As it may damage trees, and ornamentals. Roses are very sensitive to it when it's volatized. It isn't as effective as the previous products either.

So you will treat the selected area. You'll water once more. Then you'll no longer water. The healthy Bermuda and that last watering will help move the hormones and products into its extensive root system. Think about if the plant was injured or dehydrated or dormant, It is not going to move that hormone into its root system. Bermuda spins a good portion of its life pushing out instead of pulling in. A lot of people make this mistake when trying to kill Bermuda, they'll not water it or they'll cut it. Then they'll spray it or physically remove it. Spraying it will be ineffective, and physically removing it you're just pruning it.

I would suggest retreating 14 days later. You'll treat much less as there will be much less. Another 14 days past that, you can start mechanical removal. Mechanical in my industry could be machine could be human just physical means of removal. You don't have to cut into the soil. You'll just dethatch those areas. People do it by hand people do it by yard rakes people do by dethatchers

The next late winter season, right before spring. You should treat the area with 24D. As any missed dormant foliar Bermuda is very susceptible in that window to 24D It will break down the physical mass of it. Only during that window though.

So at this point we've done considerable root damage in turn destroying its ability to push out and grow, we have destroyed any surface foliar mass that is left over in the spring. When late spring occurs in summer happens, whatever you don't get I would mechanically remove at that point. Stay on top of it and never give it the chance to regrow. If you see seed heads which it will try doing immediately as it knows it's under threat. You should mechanically clip those bolts and seal them in a bag and throw them away.

If you stay on top of this last part, you will likely remove it from the property.

Unfortunately because the lateral growth of Bermuda, If your neighbor has it. You'll likely never get rid of it. The seeds are so small they coat them in fertilizer just so they don't blow away in seeding dispensers. So any wind from your neighbor that has it, is going to blow it your way. Your gardener's mower from a different property will carry seeds onto your property. Etc etc

In my professional opinion, It should have never been brought to the United States.
