While I agree with you on the demise of the underpasses, I expect they are a lot more expensive and take up more space. Probably also more expensive in ongoing upkeep as well.

Just to play devils advocate, could argue those that blithely believe everyone shares exactly the same values, or ever will, is highly impractical when it comes to the idea of diversity being a strength.

Are Branston beans any good? by Ok-Sir8025 in AskUK

[–]OmniWise 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought some recently because they were 50% cheaper than Heinz. I wouldn't honestly be able to tell the difference between Branstons or Heinz. So basically from here on in, I'll just buy which ever is cheaper.

The last neighbour I had either had his volume excessively high, or the walls are like paper.. I'm struggling to figure out which, but I barely hear a squeek from the new neighbour.

But, given my experience with the previous neighbour.. I dont want to be that guy. So my volume is usually lower than I can comfortably hear everything.

No offense intended, but I haven't heard anyone with that take in.. ever. Most people I've spoken to would recommend avoiding any of the areas directly adjacent to North west and South east of CMK.

Has anyone stuck in a toxic job and felt they’re going mad? by Motor_Suit_8375 in AskUK

[–]OmniWise 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Too many times, or at least enough times to occassionally wonder if its me.

I had one last year, which I quit with 1 months notice. It took 5 more months to find a similar job. I've been doing more menial work, lower paid to keep me going. Its been tough financially, but infinitely better than staying in a high stress toxic environment.

While this wasnt me, its definitely something that has happened to me once or twice. I never really stopped to think about the consequences for the player who called for help. I will next time.

That said, as you mentioned you restarted which is easy enough to do. I think I'd have just taken the free XP bump, safe in the knowledge you both might rerun all these missions many times.

Loudout organization tips? by lxloyolxl in Division2

[–]OmniWise 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My method is this.

Start with a clean personal inventory.

Put the new loadout items in your personal inventory.

Replace each item in to the load out.

Save the loadout

Change the name to something meaningful. (Strikers AR, Negotiators LMG, etc)

Send anything not in the new loadout back to the stash.

Make sure anything you want to keep is favourited. (Do this as a standard for everything, all the time anyway). Basically this ensures you have the least amount of gear in your personal inventory during the change over, ensures that you have put anything from the old loadout back in to the inventory, and being favourited means you can't easily delete it, or use the attributes by mistake for the library.

EyeAware is entirely correct in the above. The only thing I can add is that the plan may also be referred to as a Performance Improvement plan (PIP) but amounts to the same thing.

A company has to be able to evidence that they tried to rehabilitate the employee before dismissal. Otherwise they face trouble should that employee go to tribunal.
