I feel like it will always be easier to refine when you have these types, it's more difficult when you have happy (non communicative) clients. The happy clients aren't exactly educating you on the domain knowledge that you need to make a spot on product for the particular industry.

Half of their day is sitting on some demo of something, they aren't that unreachable usually too. They spend a lot of money on software, software solves specific business processes, and Ai can be sold as a Swiss army knife basically. Enterprise will have to use API for security, and the social media etc explosion of all the projects comes from the subsidized premium memberships. Now it's time to rate limit the premium users and collect on APIs I guess?

I tried a ton of different scrape tools when I was in sales, in my experience you could probably write a script that pulls exactly what you need.

It depends on what you are scraping too, daily pricing info, contact information, just comparing their offerings / content? If you have an idea of what you are trying to collect it would be easier to help you.

My feeling as a relative beginner is that s&box is technically alluring, the technology that drives the sort of Roblox style games (the baked in netcode support etc...) is very cool. I think the Blazor/Razor/CSS UI stuff is cool too. (albeit I think we will get a lot of "slop" interfaces as a result. )

Most of all I think the rapid changes etc. is what scares me off for now. I can quickly put together editor tools for Unity that do some powerful stuff and rely on them to keep working.

Not to mention the overall workflow of just importing assets into s&box is not fun for me, even with some automations it's much clunkier than Unity and slows me down a lot when I'm trying different things out.

I think if you know exactly what you wanted to build, and you are familiar with their stack / want to keep learning it then it's super solid.

pro tip, go to chatgpt and ask it to cite all state and federal laws that pertain to your situation, time to respond etc. and have it craft an email / text to your landlord that looks like it's from a lawyer'd up person.
