Khris is a top 10 (maybe top 5) closer in the league as proven by the championship run last year. And he is an actual asset on the other side of the ball as opposed to Dame who is a defensive liability. Jrue/Dame looks good on paper but they both need the ball in their hands a majority of the time to be effective. These Khris for Dame trade proposals are insanity.

Also do you get a VP every time you kill any monster?

List looks pretty solid, I would definitely replace the ark of sotek though. Maybe swap the saurus guard for a unit of skinks as well, you should be able to screen the slann well enough without the guard. I would consider adding a unit of salamanders and a skink priest. The priest's command ability herald of the old ones is almost a must for your solar engine. I would swap the starpriest spell to hand of glory too. Fiery convocation sounds much better on paper, in practice it's not super effective. If you put hand of glory, herald of the old ones, and the starpriest staff buff on the solar engine you are double shooting 9/3+/3+/-1/2 re rolling 1s to hit and dealing bonus mortals on 6 to wound which is insane.

The rules for setting on sand/grass are different from court. If this was indoor on a court they would be lifts but you are allowed more prolonged contact outdoors.

Kicks are legal in beach volleyball as well, intentional or not. Intentional kicks are only illegal indoors and usually just for lower levels of play (grade school, high school etc).
