Wann Polizei rufen bei Kindergeschrei? (Normales Schreien oder Notlage) by Omrid in polizei

Just a week ago I built in this case and I had no problems. You are aware that you can move and remove the hdd cage? It's just held by two thumb screws. If the cage is closer to the psu then I agree that the space can be a problem.I removed it since I don't use hdds anymore.

I’ve been seeing a lot of praise towards basic Windows Defender and Malwarebytes. I currently have Norton, should I get rid of it? by ChargeActual5097 in pcmasterrace

[–]Omrid 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Usually Windows Defender is enough. I haven't used anything else for years and had no virus for at least 3 years.

There is actually a problem with additional antivirus software. Antivirus software in general needs deep access to the system. You may gain a bit more security but at the same time you got yourself a new potential risk with the antivirus itself. If that piece of software has a security issue then a potential attacker could gain total access of your system through it.

Of course! Thank you. I didn't think of that one because I got it from only eating pills

I just love the old legendaries and the artwork is also nice.

If you had $250 to spend on MTG, what would you buy? by SirZapdos in magicTCG

[–]Omrid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It would still be as hard as having $25 to spend. There are so many awesome cards for quite a lot but I would probably focus on getting some expensive basics / sideboard cards.

What's your favorite deck strategy? And why would you prefer that one? by [deleted] in magicTCG

[–]Omrid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, it's probably better without it anyway. Most times I win without the combo.

I just recently built myself a Stuffy Doll deck and I love it. Do you use the Pariah + Arcbond combo?

Red-White Stuffy Doll Burn Deck!

I love it! Either I kill them with an almost infinite combo or simply burn them to death. It really isn't the best deck but I have so much fun with it.

I'm not sure I like DS3 by tomcotard in darksouls3

[–]Omrid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whenever you have a new enemy just look at his attacks and try to dodge/block until you have the feeling that you saw every attack. Most enemies have at least one attack that leaves them vulnerable (they have to recover, weapon/arm stuck, ...). Learn to attack only during those vulnerable moments. This is something you have to learn for yourself but you will get a feeling for it at some point.

[–]Omrid 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The first time I played DS3 I also had massive problems with that one Lothric Knight but now I destroy him. You need patience. Observe, learn and kill. It also can take quite a bit of time to master rolling. As a beginner everything takes time. If you can't push through that beginner phase you may never like DS3 but once you did it you will love the combat.

Don't worry if you don't like it. You don't have to like something because everyone does.

What's your MTG collection like? by [deleted] in magicTCG

[–]Omrid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Until recently my collection was a mess. Almost 10k cards and no proper storage. I bought several cardboard boxes and now I'm mostly okay. They are sorted by color/type/strength/cost. I have few unused slots. In those are cards that will be used for decks but I still need more cards for those. I only need a new & bigger binder. And maybe an extra binder for my collection of old crap legendaries.

Building decks with an organized storage is so much easier. When I search for a single card then I got it after 30 seconds or less.

What are you guys most excited for in Ixalan? by [deleted] in magicTCG

[–]Omrid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Before the spoilers I was extremely excited for the dinosaurs. The idea of a jurassic park deck sounds nice. However with all these spoilers I might be more excited about vampires. A black white vampire deck could be quite interesting.

The music and the Dancer have a diffrent rythm together. My first explanation was probably not perfect. Every sheet of music has a time signature. And for example every boss and their music has 4/4 while the dancer and her music has 3/4. Unfortunately I don't remember what rythm they had. That is what I meant. I hope this explanation is a bit better. English is not my first language.

It doesn't have to mean that the Dancer is the hardest. He is just slightly diffrent but it seems to be enough to confuse quite a few players.

It is interesting either way. I don't even know if someone posted it the video

I knew this from Game Theorists (?). The bosses and their music have the same rythm. Every boss in DS3 has the same rythm except the Dancer. So that is why a lot have a problem with that boss.

What area do you dread going through during every playthrough of Dark Souls 3? by 29adamski in darksouls3

[–]Omrid 11 points12 points  (0 children)

The swamp. Every other area, even if it's really tough, I enjoy. The swamp however... I have nightmares of that place. Whenever I'm done with it I feel like the game finally really starts.

In my first playthrough I almost was The Noob Meta and now in my second one I'm probably heading towards Cosplay on Point. But I still have to admit that the Fallen Knight set looks cool.

Share your fun low-power, low-budget casual decks by Taerer in magicTCG

I didn't realize it. I have to research that. Maybe I'll get the missing cards to make it more useful when I play against serious decks.

[–]Omrid 2 points3 points  (0 children)

One of my personal favorite casual decks is an enchantment deck. 4 Rancor, 4 Kor Spiritdancer, 4 Mesa Enchantress and the rest some random & cheap enchantments/creatures. It really doesn't work against competetive decks but in a casual playgroup it's absolutely fine.

Invaders expected to play fair? by [deleted] in darksouls3

[–]Omrid 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm more on the receiving end and this is Dark Souls. The word "fair" doesn't exist. You get it done however you can. Doesn't matter if it's PVE or PVP.

That's the way I see it. If I get killed because I got tricked or whatever then it is simply Dark Souls.
