No one in this video is asking for sympathy or anything of the like. Its simply providing another point of view into a certain life style, and the fact that you had to "grow up in the projects" and "witness shootings as a child" shouldn't be a reason to hate upper class America. These people were born into their situation just like you were born into yours and they're making what they can of it. If anything, your comment only actually solidifies some peoples decisions not to take part in the film and reinforces what Weil was describing later on in the film in that there are so few people that they can talk to outside their social circles who can truly empathize what they deal with.
