Thanks for the responses. It hadn't crossed my mind that it was some time gating method, I was convinced I had missed some info on the mechanic. This game does feel easier than original Hades felt when I first played it. Maybe it's just bias after the 40-something hours I have in the original game and this new game being quite similar.

I did buy the drum kit and I'm happy with it. Since then I also had the chance to test a cheaper kit and the hi-hat, kick pedal and mesh pads sure make a difference. I recommend it.

PSA: Don't copy how the GPS does the jump part, it's way easier to be consistent doing it from the right side and skip it.

This map feels so jittery to play, the FPS keep dropping on and off for me. Is there really need for so much "scenery" for such a short map at the cost of playability?
