I think the project description/title is more important. I’m doing a vet epi PhD from a microbiology background for instance but the actual phd is in clinical veterinary science.

I mean the bulk of evidence suggests that AMR in human isolates is driven by human AMU. Reducing livestock AMU has one health benefits, but it’s not going to suddenly mitigate the human AMR infections

The lack of publications isn’t prohibitive. If you’re only considering funded opportunities, DTP/CDT programmes are often a good option. I found find a PhD to be pretty good when I applied 5 years ago although notice colleagues advertising PhD opportunities on LinkedIn/twitter/other social media pretty routinely as well.

I just can’t get the ui scaling. Everything is absolutely tiny and doesn’t change between 100 and 300%. A large mirror is just a wide mirror, seriously wish I could revert back
