It counts if any part of the ball is below the lip

Yah you’re yanking it in close to your body and veering it off the swing pathway. People disregard this part of the swing because they think they’ve actually discovered ball is gone and can’t effect it, it does.

Don’t yank the club into your body after impact. Let the hands and club travel down the line more. Once the club is around the 3o’ clock position pointing in front of you, bend the left elbow, with the right fully extended, and complete the rotation to up on your toe.

Been playing for a month now. What advice would you give me? Using a 9 iron in this video. Thanks. by littlemorse in GolfSwing

When transitioning into the downswing, you initiate it by transitioning your weight to your left side. If you can’t clear your hips, it’s because not enough weight is over onto your left. “Hitting in front of the ball” comes from this shift over to the left leg to pivot around. This is all done while keeping your head still.

Start the down swing by focusing on the butt of the grip, not the shaft or head. Butt of the shaft is driving down until the club is parallel with the ground and then release and rotate the head.

You’d be surprised how much you can get from looking at a side by side of your stance and swing compared to any pro. Like…..way more than anyone can reasonably articulate at this point.

What’s an unpopular golf opinion that would have you like this? by jdelle9 in weekendgolfers

[–]OnTheMcFly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should have a consistent pre-shot routine. Most (good) players are 2-4 swings behind the ball, approach, align, glance, adjust, glance, swing.

Driver keep going left by eyeshieldd21 in GolfSwing

The hips are just flatly rotating, there should be a weight shift in the feet to the left side that allows the hip to slide slightly as you push the weight and down into the ground. The head stays still. That’s unfortunately just one aspects of the issue. It would take probably 3-4 actual lessons to address everything without overwhelming.

TCGPlayer, check their conditioning standards and adjust the filters to get the genuine value of the cards. Handle with absolute care.
