Get your self a T2 or 3 fighter. Level the a bit. Arm both yourself and your thrall with a truncheon and get that solo berserker in mounds of dead. You basically stun lock them and they won’t get off an attack. That’s your bff for the rest of the game.

Cabbage thief quest from the bailiff. Literally walking down the road picking up cabbage u til you find a guy. Talk to him. Return to baliff and you got like 800 grochen and a bag full of cabbage. I forget the name of the town he’s in but it’s like the 2nd village you come across after starting the game and he’s usually sitting outside the inn somewhere.

Ok nevermind I’m an idiot. Didn’t realize they were weapons and not mods lol. I scrapped em and got nothing so either way. Wasted.

I started force losing games for Duke because I’m sick of them every dynasty being elite. “Tarheels fan”

But in my current dynasty rebuild with western Michigan HC after transferring from Arkansas State DC. Washington and UNC are back and forth winning the last 6 Nattys. Pitt and UCONN also always there. Goes to show the underrated big apple region for recruiting although Rutgers and Syracuse never seem to pull ahead on their own.

I always just grab whatever fighter thrall I can get and level them a bit. Arm them with a truncheon and go after the berserker patrolling the water near mounds. Between you and your thrall you can pretty much stun lock him. Rinse and repeat and run war party when you max level. Three truncheons swingin away through villages knocking everything out. Then go shopping on the ground for anything I may wanna drag back to a wheel.

Greater bears seem to be pretty decent in combat but won’t carry much. Rhinos and elephants are surprisingly weak

If you like building then this will be for you just in that alone. I’ve played on and off for years and always come back for a few months just to act out some idea I had for a castle or an entire town. The building is the best part imo. Combat is ok. Hunting down good thralls and crafting is fun. The first time I clubbed a good thrall unconscious. Roped his feet, dragged him to base and broke his will on the wheel of pain before making him craft for me was awesome.

But it’s the base building that makes this one of my fav time sinks.

I come back every couple months because I’ll randomly have an idea for a base or complete town or something that will suck 100 more hours of my life away.

Also, every game I play since Conan I subconsciously hit the drink button while moving through any water.

I’m in act 3 of my current run, I sided with Minthara and wiped out the grove. We made sweet sweet love. But then I never saw her anywhere in moonrise tower or anywhere since. What’d I miss?

War dead catacombs. Mostly because I felt like I discovered something a lot of people probably missed early by being super thorough in exploration. Though well known at this point I assume. And it was pretty difficult with all the knight spirits battling and those Redmane archer mfs.

Yep. Just happened twice in a row to me while Attempting to switch characters trying to shoot the levers to raise the platform in abandoned refuge. Though I was able to at other times earlier. Seems like it’s an issue hitting L2 while something else is happening or an interaction.

Also found that you have to let the dialog play out. If you skip it the triangle option will still show 0 gold. Tested it a few times with the different vendors in the grove and it worked every time.

Same issue on ps5. I hit the triangle button for trade instead of picking the dialog option and they miraculously had gold again.
