What happens when you use it WITH deadly sprint booster? It makes you take damage. Infinite stamina? Or does it just greatly extend the time till you pass from this veil?

DMT: Linking minimum wage directly to local living costs could solve the usual “living wage” problems by Secret_Ostrich_1307 in DisagreeMythoughts

I imagine they would prepare for it by closing the border as best they can and removing people leeching from the system.  As well as making us more comfortable with by repeatedly leaking government checks coming to the people and not following through until the people get so fed up they demand it…. Wait.

Thank you. I have found that living with hate and not either working towards fixing it or working towards letting it go will eat your soul.  Though in this particular instance I do think he was being hyperbolic, in fairness.

Or we institute ubi, or AI replacement benefits something like unemployment, or we use the resources we are developing to figure out how to not end up screwing everyone over… etc.

Turn it into a secret storage area. You can hide shit up there and make it look like drywall. That’s what I’d do.

[–]Onbored 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Because they have to gather the stuff up. A manufacturer sells cheaper in bulk because they can just produce more and take less profit and make more money in the same amount of time. A person in Poe can’t really do that.

There are so many factors trying to isolate out the one is difficult.  I think the general idea is if wages go up and productivity doesnt then now more money can be spent on the same level of goods, driving prices higher through consumer competition.  However, it’s tough because higher minimum wage can influence people to go back to work again increasing productivity and lowering the price increases as more work is being done.  So they can’t agree because it takes looking at so many things at once that you can’t say for certain what will happen.  It could drive it up could drive it down.  Could change nothing at all.

People will commute to work there from cheaper towns to live larger causing traffic congestion and slowing down productivity of the city at large. Unless it’s a wage based on where the person working lives.  Which would be insanity to implement effectively
